We booked with go2africa, and as we both wanted to enjoy the safari exp. I wasnt willing to give up my 5 star amenities. Well, you do not have to do that at Stanley's Camp. We flew into the camp from maun, and was welcome...More
My wife and I just got back from a visit to Stanley's Camp and had a very good time
The tents are very nice. Not really luxurious but very nice. the dining area was very scenic and comfortable. The food was quite good.
This was our first camp on our safari in Botswana. We were collected from the airstrip by Anthony our guide and had our first taste of a safari on the drive to the camp. The camp is wonderful, our luxurious 'tents', ensuite and with views...More
What this camp lacks in amenities, it makes up for with the once in a lifetime optional elephant experience. Walking/lunching with these HUGE gentle giants was reason enough to go to Botswanna, then add in the other sights and sightings an its hard to beat....More

Hello, I don't remember, I think around $250 US. It was well worth it and the money goes to support the 3 elephants. Their care is not cheap! You can follow them on Facebook at Living with Elephants Foundation. It was a very informative and interactive experience. Having lunch with them after was a surreal experience.
Have a great time.

Hi Lori - November is the ‘Green Season’ is when the air is fresh and there are rains - everything comes back to life again after enduring the long hot summer. Our local Operations Director says “This is my favourite time of the year. After the arid summers I look forward to cool temperatures and everything turns green”. Usually the skies are bright and sunny in the mornings and sometimes cloud rolls in during the afternoons and there can be thunderstorms.
However, remember the weather in Africa is unpredictable these days so we can never be sure!
Hope that helps, Sanctuary Retreats
