This was the first place we stayed at on a 8 day safari with Sanctuary. The staff, food and accommodations are all 5 star. The tent is super nice and we didn't have a problem keeping bugs out at all. There is also a very...More
I'd say this is more "glamping"...tented rooms but lovely cotton sheets on proper beds with heating pads...bedside lamps, safe, hair dryer, normal shower and toilet with door, electricity and even wifi....that said- there are bugs and spiders and heard a hyena on the path one...More
This would only be good for nature lovers who enjoy camping, are not afraid of things that go bump in the night... It's a tented camp, has proper beds, ensuite with toilet and shower but there are also wild animals roaming around, so no midnight...More

Hello, I don't remember, I think around $250 US. It was well worth it and the money goes to support the 3 elephants. Their care is not cheap! You can follow them on Facebook at Living with Elephants Foundation. It was a very informative and interactive experience. Having lunch with them after was a surreal experience.
Have a great time.

Hi Lori - November is the ‘Green Season’ is when the air is fresh and there are rains - everything comes back to life again after enduring the long hot summer. Our local Operations Director says “This is my favourite time of the year. After the arid summers I look forward to cool temperatures and everything turns green”. Usually the skies are bright and sunny in the mornings and sometimes cloud rolls in during the afternoons and there can be thunderstorms.
However, remember the weather in Africa is unpredictable these days so we can never be sure!
Hope that helps, Sanctuary Retreats
