Beautiful Lodge located in the Northern Parts of the Delta, offering Water and Land activities. We were the only lodge for miles giving an authentic safari feel. Also with tasteful tents on wooden decks, with beautiful bathrooms and great views over the savannah. Multi tier...More

we just had a wonderful time at Shinde and met lovely like minded people. It never ceases to amaze me that such good food can be served in the middle of the African bush. Staff were extremely efficient, willing and friendly. We had superb game...More

We were fortunate to be the just about first guests of the season, so we had lots of attention as the camp wasn't full until the day we left. This situations gave us plenty of time to get to know many of the staff, and...More

We arrived here from Kanana Lodge and were again for a day or so (of the two nights here) the only guests. Our “tent” was close to the main buildings but the whole place has a lovely feeling of remoteness, though the airstrip is fairly...More

A great place to stay in the Okavanga Delta!! This lodge is so isolated and you really feel like a pampered guest in a special place. It is safe, but right in the bush. The accommodations were excellent and the excursions were also amazing. Our...More

Hello, we will stay in Shinde for 3 nights in September (3-6) 2017. We would like to have some details about walking safaris. At what time of the day they are offered? What footwear needed for them? How strenuous are they? How long are they? If we choose not to participate in them, are other activities offered AT THE SAME TIME as walking safaris? Thank you very much.

Definitely worth doing! I wore a good pair of walking shoes... didn't use hiking boots. The walk was about 3 hours in total but not strenuous. Some driving, some walking. We did ours in the morning and followed a male... More

My husband and I are planning our first African safari. We chose Botswana. One of the reasons is the my husband is an avid bird watcher and we understand that Okavango Delta is a paradise for twitchers. Do you have any opinion on it? Is bird watching a big part of the activities at Shinde? Please address my questions. Many thanks.

Hello we will spend 3 nights in Shinde Camp from Sept 3 to Sept 6. We would like to know what kind of foot ware we would need to bring with us. Do we need waterproof boots for safari walks if we choose to participate in these walks. Do you have to pay extra for these walks? What time of the day walking safaris take place ? Thank you very much
