We stayed for the weekend at Botsford Briar in the Rose Room. It was a great experience...the inn keepers were very warm and helpful. The room was clean, quaint, and spacious. The inn and grounds are very well-kept. The location is within walking distance Main Street. The breakfast is simple and fresh delivered right to your door. Great get-away from...

We stayed at Botsford Briar for three nights (in the Magnolia Room) and it was a one of a kind experience that I will not forget. Although I have been on a number of day trips to Beacon prior to this extended visit, staying at this inn has given me a brand new perspective on the town and the region....

If you need rest and relaxation and an escape from the city, look no further. The innkeepers were incredibly friendly and helpful. We took all their recommendations. Everything you would want to do was in walking distance. We will definitely be returning. The Magnolia room was quiet, clean and secluded. Sunset was amazing.

We were travelling by train and needed a B & B close to Dia:Beacon Art Museum and this was great. We ain't kids anymore, so we had to take a taxi from the train station, though it also isn't a bad walk (15 min.) if you don't mind hills. Though it was cold, it wasn't a bad walk (some hills,...

We were greeted by Charles ,a really nice man, who seems to do just about everything here but only nearly completing his various and numerous tasks . As we entered the house it felt very dark and quite eerie, rather like a gothic movie set. So much is unfinished between their two properties, the guest house suffers as a consequence....

Never been to this area before but this looked like a convenient place to stay while taking in a tour of West Point, an Army football game and dinner at the CIA. After a fantastic lunch at the "HOP" checked in at the Botsford Briar. Charlie welcomed us as we drove in the driveway. He was always available and everytime...

This inn is run extremely professionally and seamlessly, which might not be the first thing you'd look for with a b&b but it was what I appreciated most. Yes, this place is a very opulent yet comfortable victorian home with very sociable and considerate proprietors who take care of you very well and serve a very nice breakfast right to...

My husband, son and I stayed here and really enjoyed it. Charlie and Shirley (who own/run the place) were so lovely and kind. They went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. As a bonus, this place is quite well located: easy walk to Dia, or to Main street shops and restaurants. And frankly, this was very affordable...

I'm from the Hudson River Valley area originally and thought it would be a nice experience to stay in a B & B I hadn't been to in the past. My boyfriend and I were warmly welcomed by the innkeeper Charlie and the owner Shirley, immediately upon our arrival. The house itself was quite warm and inviting, with unique features...

My boyfriend and I booked a room here last minute, and from the moment I spoke with Shirley, the owner, on the phone, she was sweet and warm as can be. The only room they had left to book for the evening was "their best room," she said, which was the Magnolia Room. It was definitely the best! With a...
