Stayed in the Brown room (the smaller of the two rooms offered) and enjoyed the stay. Bathrooms, bedroom and common areas were clean and open. Easy access to the metro north and Beacon shops. No issue with noise. Would highly recommend for weekend trip.

Beacon Bamboo Forest is smack in the middle of town - a perfect walk down Main St, from the Metro North, or to sites like Dia and the nearby waterfall. Jessica made us feel right at-home; we had full kitchen and bathroom access and she even offered us some homegrown basil to cook with! She is readily available via cell...

The perfect home our first time in Beacon, reflecting the town's artsy-quirky charm. Jessica was genuinely gracious and made us feel instantly at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our favorite section was the bamboo garden, especially at night. We looked forward to coming home and sitting at the picnic table, peeking at the stars through cracks in the...

Jessica was a wonderful host! For a first time and last-minute trip to Beacon (on a busy labor day weekend!) they stay was a pleasant surprise and very accommodating. The stay is in one of, I believe, 3 rooms. So you'll stay with other guests. From our experience, this was not an inconvenience at all as the folks that day/night...

Jessica's place is right in the middle of town and very walkable to sightseeing, shopping, and, at about a 15 minute walk, even the Dia:Beacon, MTA Railroad Station, and Hudson riverfront park. She is an extremely gracious host and is an accomplished artist herself. The home is very clean and Jessica provides ingredients for a DIY breakfast each morning. It...

Jessica is a great hostess. Her place is quaint and close to everything. Our yearly trip to Beacon was always on the other side of the Hudson in Newburgh. We wanted to stay on the Beacon side and came across Jessica's Bamboo Forest lodging and were happy she could accommodate us.

Jessica truly goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Location couldn't be better; you're seconds from Main Street's quirky stores and eateries and a short walk to the Roundhouse and local parks, with Dia art museum about 15 min away. The decor and ambience is very quirky, with the owner's art projects on display...

We stayed for a weekend in the fall. The location is right next to main street, where all the galleries, shops, and cafes are. Jessica is very nice and hospitable, and the house is full of beautiful and unique artwork. All in all a very cozy, simple, affordable, and enjoyable stay! :)

I stayed for a couple nights at Beacon Bamboo Forest, and had a really nice stay. Jessica offered me some home cooked meals, one of which was some squash grown in her garden, and we chatted over some herbal tea. The bedroom, and the house as a whole is colorfully decorated, and has lots of character. The bed was comfortable,...
