We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Royale. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable. The breakfast was included and there was a coffee maker, microwave and refridgerator in the room, which made it a good value. There were pretzel crumbs on the floor from previous guests but other than that, the room was clean. We enjoyed the unique...

Spent a night in February 2012. The entire room was very clean, quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was decent, slightly above average, water pressure & temp fine. The room furnishings & finishes were basic, if a bit worn. The ceilings were very high and the room I stayed in (lobby level room) has a beautiful huge...

We stayed at this hotel in August, and it had quite decent reviews. The room turned out to be quite shabby and worn. A/C was dead, and that was a hot day. But, most important, the room had bed bugs (both my wife and I got bitten when went to bed -- luckily our child was not). We've checked out...

Nice historic hotel, but expensive. Has breakfast included, but it was not very filling. Nice location downtown. Note hotel is no longer part of Clarion / Choice Hotels anymore. Rooms are a bit worn. Would stay again if in the area.

We spent one night in this historic building that has just recently been renovated. It is centrally located in downtown Binghamton and we were able to walk to places- restaurants, bars, shopping etc. Staff were easily accessible and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a very nice stay at a reasonable charge.

This hotel is a landmark worth checking out. My experience with the hotel staff was very good and my stay was very comfortable. I was there for almost 2 months working flood claims, so my length of stay allowed me to observe and take in many things under different circumstances. I had the opportunity to meet and interact with everyone,...

Made a reservation online for my family paid in full. when we'd arrived, the innkeeper told me he hadnt noticed my reservation and he'd just given away the room, which was the last family size room, to a walk in. offered no apology. when i asked about refund, he said i'd need to take it up with Expedia and so...

Did have doubts about this place, but have changed my opinion. A good value for the room, the service definitely seems to have improved from earlier reviews, and it's a really cool building (the old Binghamton City Hall). But there were a few glitches.... Upon arrival, we were assigned a nice 2nd floor king room. When we walked in, we...

We stayed in the 3rd floor "suite."room smelled musty and was dark. Upon check-in, staff had no personality and was not accommodating at all. When we booked the room we specifically asked if it was next to any loud clubs or anything of the sort, clearly we were lied to because there was a very loud block party going on...
