My family has been going to Hemlock Hall on Blue Mountain Lake for 17 years. We went 18 years ago as a couple and have been back every year ever since. We have brought various members of both our families and have enjoyed every visit. My children are already talking about taking their children there some day. This is not...

It's is difficult to put into words the feel of this place. My wife and I went there in the summer of 1998 while she was pregnant with our first child. We have been back every year since. When I pull up to the lodge I feel excited and peaceful at the same time. My family feels the same and...

I was traveling from Albany to Potsdam and needed a place to stay. Blue Mtn Lake/Hemlock Hall was exactly half way. Paul made me feel like I was coming home. Fresh cookies and fruit out to enjoy. Beautiful stone fireplace to sit and relax by. Hot tea & a piece of pie ready for me when I arrived (10pm)! I...

This place is fantastic. We have gone there for the last several years. We usually stay 3-4 days. There is lots to do there if you want to do it, there is also lots of nothing to do if you want to unplug, unwind and relax. The staff is awesome and seems to come back year after year. The food...

I go to Hemlock Hall every year. And each year, the food is the best I've ever had. It is true, you might want to bring a sweatshirt because it could get cold. But even though it sometimes gets a bit chilly, it is the most fun you'll have all year. The sights you could go and see are gorgeous!...

We have been to Hemlock Hall probably a total of 5 times over the course of 20 years. Very nice setting on Blue Mountain Lake. Unusual food plan: sit down breakfast and dinner only. They will pack an amazing bag lunch for $7.00. Order one lunch and get 2 humongous sandwiches. One of the things we've always liked about HH...

My husband and I spent 5 days at Hemlock Hall this past week. We rented the Master Suite which includes a small and somewhat cramped bathroom. A screen porch overlooking the front lawn and the lake makes for an intimate private space and was really welcome on one rainy day. Breakfast and dinner are included. There are other lodge bedrooms,...

Beautifully situated, comfortable, lots to do outdoors nearby, kayaks and more provided, and the food is fabulous! We loved our stay here in autumn,s and hope to...

Hemlock Hall is a wonderful place to stay on Blue Mt. Lake. We've been going there for years--first with our young daughter, then with her and a friend, and now as empty nesters. We used to visit in the summer, which is a great time for families. In the fall, it's quiet and the leaves are just spectacular. Breakfast and...

We stumbled upon Hemlock Hall on a rainy night 10 years ago. What a welcome delight! The first floor of an aging (but very lovingly maintained) Adirondack great camp was full of chattering conversation and easy laughter from all the guests beginning their family styled dinner. We were hustled to our seats and told to eat first and settle the...
