The Rice Mansion Inn is not open as a B&B, it opens for special occasions and twice a year for the New Skete Monastery seminars "The Art of Living With Your Dog". I booked a room that was located in the rear carriage house on the main floor for my niece and I. It turned out to be an adorable...

We stayed at Rice Mansion October 2010 and are still talking about how wonderful Christine was as a hostess. We had baggage issues, bike issues and bad weather and still talk about how great our stay was…. Anyone in the area should treat themselves to this get away.

This is a lovely family owned inn. Yes, they are in the middle of painting the outside and you do pull up and wonder if you made the right decision. However, if you stay here you will not regret your decision or be disappointed. The rooms are beautifully appointed and are all different. The rooms are large and the rooms...

I have actually been to Rice Mansion 2x, to drop my dog off for training at the Monks of New Skete, (a place you need to visit !!) and back with my husband to pick our dog up. This was one of the places the trainers at New Skete recommended that I stay. I have to agree with other reviewers...

We just stayed at the Rice Mansion Inn Sept 30-Oct 3. This is a home built in 1906 undergoing a renovation. You must know that before you see the outside. Please don't be discouraged by the exterior which may be completed by the time you read this. We were part of a bicycle touring group out of Vermont called POMG....

We stayed at Rice Mansion for a getaway to the Saratoga Springs area during the month of August. Beware... this is not really a Bed and Breakfast...Monday through Thursday it is just a bed (read the website very carefully). Secondly, our room with a queen size bed had only a full size, with musty sheets with signs of wear to...

My wife and I passed through Cambridge on our motorcycle and stayed at the Rice Mansion Inn. This Inn is located in a sleepy little town off the beaten path. When we pulled up we were a little dissappointed. The exterior is a little run down and in need of some renovation work. Aside from that everything else was excellent....

The Rice Mansion Inn is a wonderful inn. The proprietors have completed the lions share of renovations to the mansion and carriage house to create wonderfully warm and elegant spaces. It is clear that they have a real passion for the inn and providing hospitality. B&B enthusiasts will be delighted and traditional hotel patrons will find this inn to be...

Like a previous reviewer we were in Cambridge for a wedding. Our family stayed primarily in the Carriage House. This was idealt because it offered a variety of room arrangements, all in close proximity and all very comfortable and attractive. The Innkeeper, Christine, was extremely helpful as different issues arose - providing kitchen resources and procurement tips for our contribution...

All of my friends and family who stayed at the Rice Mansion Inn for our wedding were incredibly happy and impressed with the service they received there. (We reserved the rooms in the Carriage House). A few examples: One person asked for an iron, and Christine, the innkeeper, said she would be happy to find him one, but instead insisted...
