I have lived here for 10 years, and it is a slice of heaven on earth. Many people are unaware that we have permanent homeowners in our lovely community. So many people like to golf (residents get a discount), play tennis or pickle-ball, boat, swim, and hike. We also have a community center with a library, exercise room, and game... More

After some debate and a feasibility study, we finally agreed to leave the kids with grandma and spent our V-day weekend somewhere. Our first kid free V-day ever. Bristol mountain attracted me because someone there could put 24 kilometer of vertical skiing in one single day. That made worldwide record for most vertical on the Trace app. I decided to... More

An absolutely gorgeous setting on Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes area near Rochester NY. Rooms with comfortable rustic furniture with a view that is priceless. They even have heated bathroom floors that are controlled by you. There were two Adirondack chairs outside the room to enjoy the view and enjoy the fresh mountain air. There was also a gas... More

My husband surprised me for an overnight here for our anniversary. We had been here many times in the past but not for several years. Our previous visits were wonderful. I so wanted to enjoy our time there but it was so bad I was shocked. The room was in need of a serious overhaul. The carpet had a black... More

I've lived in Rochester for twenty years and been to Bristol Harbour dozens of times. The resort has changed ownership and from what we experienced, the new owners are already improving upon the quality of what was already a great resort. We dined at the lodge and the food was great and the view spectacular. Our waiter Josh was attentive... More

I had the opportunity to have dinner at the lodge last night. The large is beautiful, the views are superb. I am encouraged with the new owners. They are hands on, investing in the resort, but are not experienced restaurant or resort operators. The menu has a good variety of selections. The food service was very slow,we waited 40 min. for our dinners,the... More

We had never stayed in the Finger Lakes before and we were so happy to happen upon Bristol Harbour while searching Trip Advisor. What a wonderful place to make our home base for a week. It was an hour or two to most of the places we visited that week and was comfy and cozy. We did not experience "paper... More

My husband and I wanted to stay at the hotel in the suite for our Honeymoon. When we first got there, the front desk staff was very rude and not helpful at all. Our room was very nice and the air conditioning worked great, no complaints there. You cant use cash at all anywhere on the resort. Nothing is included... More

Dropped in for a late lunch on the patio. My jaw dropped when I saw the gorgeous view of the lake. I only had a salad which was quite tasty. While we had our lunch, we watched a wedding from our vantage point. I can easily understand why couples would select that venue. The menu noted that the Resort was... More

I stayed at Bristol Harbor as part of a wedding party. The larger cabins were spacious with a beautiful view from the top floor. However, the twin beds creaked constantly and both of the twin beds' sheets were dirty. That's not what I would expect for $600 a night. The night of the wedding my boyfriend and I got a... More
