Bill and Lynne were gracious hosts during our three-day stay at this beautiful NY state bed & breakfast inn. Our room was comfortable and private without being fussy. In fact the entire house is incredibly comfortable and inspires guests to mix and mingle in the living room over a jigsaw puzzle or cup of coffee, enjoy a board game in...

Bill and Lynne were fantastic hosts! Everything about our stay was wonderful! Our room was spacious and clean with lots of character, breakfast was amazing every morning, the location was great, and the amenities were above and beyond our expectations. We could not have asked for a better B&B for our trip to Canandaigua! I would recommend to everyone and...

After a very hectic wedding weekend, we checked into Oliver Phelps to begin our honeymoon. Bill greeted us and showed us around the beautiful historic home. The house was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the large suite and loved the fireplace, comfortable bed, and wonderful shower. Both Bill and Lynne were friendly and helpful. They had a remarkable...

Lynn and Bill are wonderful owners of a wonderful historical property. With Canandaigua's year long city celebration its a great time to visit and partake of the events schedule. Lynn and Bill made great recommendations, and it felt like home staying at Oliver Phelps except with better breakfasts than I could never imagine cooking. The rooms are very comfortable with...

Bill and Lynne are recent owners of an already well-rated B&B. This is their first inn experience, but they run it like pros. They are very attentive and accommodating without being intrusive. If you have any needs whatsoever, don't hesitate to ask. One couple skipped the wonderful breakfast to go on a bike ride, when the owners would have packed...

My husband and I spent our anniversary week end as guests at the Oliver Phelps. We have stayed at many Bed & Breakfast inns and this is at the top of the list. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and the Oliver Phelps room is outstanding. Lynne & Bill were perfect hosts and were very helpful in directing us to...

Wonderful stay. The new owners are extremely helpful, the location is great, and the amenities are all you could wish for. The breakfast was delicious..Would recommend a stay here for anyone in the Finger Lakes area. PS: There was even a dove with its' young brood nesting on a wreath near the door. How did they arrange that?

We just returned from a stay at Oliver Phelps. Bill and Lynne were very accommodating and helpful. They helped us to find a restaurant that we could catch the Bruins playoff game. We stayed in the Killkenny which is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures. Breakfast was also amazing. Overall, it was a great stay in the Finger...

We stayed at Oliver Phelps for three nights in May 2013. When we checked in, the innkeepers let us know they had just purchased the inn and had been there only a month. That was worrisome at first, as we were counting on them for directions and reservations, etc. Well, not to worry, Bill went out of his way to...
