We stayed for a small annual conference. A terrific property right on the edge of the lake. Really good food. Local wines are priced right. Get a lake view room if you can. Walking distance from a lovely small town. Highly recommended!!!
We stayed here when our flight out of the Halifax airport was delayed. We found all of he staff extremely polite, friendly and helpful.

Best part of the Inn was sitting lakeside on Adirondack chairs on a beautiful, warm, fall afternoon drinking Sangrias. Very peaceful...watching the boaters, and guests strolling shoreside. Four of us had two adjoining rooms. They were updated a bit, very clean and good size. Had...More
This Inn has a great location on the Lake as well as proximity to downtown. The rooms definitely need an update although housekeeping was great. The furnishings are well outdated. The food was good at the main restaurant but not many choices. The bar area...More

The ones by the pool over look the lake, and there are some trees. I'm not certain of the ones in the main part of the building, but again, I THINK not. The trees are lower. Ask at the desk. These people are very, very nice (at least to me) contrary to what other people said. I think you have to factor in when you are calling to ask since don't do it on a Friday at say 3-5 when a wedding party (or two!) may be checking in.

"Patio, lakeside room......or if no patio, lakeside view would be nice."
