John and Donna are gracious hosts, allowing total privacy or good company; whatever you wish. The charming suite was beautifully furnished and impeccably clean with many unexpected details and amenities inc. Beautiful linens and towels, nice soaps, in-room coffee. Pastoral setting offering peace and quiet. Delicious breakfast catering to the guest's desires. See you soon!

I have found a new home. The hospitality efforts were amazing. After driving 9 hours you would want somewhere peaceful and quiet and Donna and John offered all the above at White Pillars. I booked the Adirondack suite on the 2nd level. By far this had the to be the best room. I will definitely be staying here anytime I...

We stayed at this amazing and peaceful place. John and Donna were extremely friendly and welcoming, and if it wasn't because my wife was sick we would've stayed longer if we could, unfortunately we were there for her graduation ceremony for 2 nights and had to head back to Brooklyn, however we hope to go there at another time since...

We so enjoyed our brief stay at the Craftsman Suites – and will be returning again and again! We were arriving very late one night and wanted to let Donna and John know. They were very accommodating and understanding (I’m sure that happens a lot). When we arrived at the house, there was a nice note waiting for us AND...

We stayed at John and Donna's Royal Suite mid-week while visiting our daughter at SLU. An absolute hidden gem! Beautiful, peaceful setting and lovely country breakfast. Accommodations were more well-appointed than our home! They have thought of everything--and they have excellent taste. Loved the extra twin bed for our 13yo, who was doubtful that he'd enjoy the trip then suggested...

Beautiful accommodations in a beautiful part of the country. John and Donna are warm and interesting people that just really like to have company. Luxurious rooms, beds, linens, etc. When on business travel I usually ended up in the Craftsmen Suites, the property next door to the main building. It's furnished very appropriately to the area. I particularly enjoy the...

White Pillars is a North Country gem. We have stayed there 4 times over the course of my daughter's attendance at SLU. The hospitality is unsurpassed. The food is gourmet quality served with the TLC of a home cooked meal. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. We woke up to a snow covered field with deer grazing. Best of all,...

My girlfriend and I spent our 5 year anniversary in the charming Presidential Suite. The location is very quiet and off the beaten path. A perfect place for a couple from the city to get away. There were no advertised romance packages, but I simply asked for a romantic setting, and the hosts provided us with a bottle of their...

Stayed for two nights at White Pillars at the recommendation of a fellow SLU parent, and what a great recommendation it was! John and Donna are wonderful people who made my daughter and I feel welcome and comfortable. Loved our Garden View room with queen and single bed. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of fresh foods...especially loved the...

My husband, son and I stayed at White Pillars Inn for the weekend, our stay was wonderful. Comfortable and beautifully decorated room, craftsman style home that was emaculate and very clean, the home was settled on a large swath of land. in the morning we had a delicious, homemade breakfast, the ingredients were locally grown. Donna and John the Inn...
