Absolutely stunning views, especially from the outside tables. The interior was quaint and most inviting. Our spinach salads were enjoyable but not memorable. The pizza toppings were tasty but the crust could have been better. When I lifted my napkin there was a stink bug, which was quickly removed. No other uninvited guests were noted. We would go back for...

Drove over 35 miles, one way, to have dinner at a noticeably expensive restaurant. I wanted to have a nice dinner with my wife, of 40 years, and have wanted to go to the Glenn Iris in Letchworth State Park. Long drive but felt it would be worth the trip. The menu online showed $20 to over $30 meals but...

Nice place to have lunch after a nice walk in the park. Prices were reasonable. The soup of the day was lemon turkey vegetable soup and it was great. Service was quick. A totally great place to eat. There was one server who put his note pad in the back of his pants which was a bit off putting, but...

A lovely old hotel in the beautiful Lechworth State Park. The (more affordable) rooms are small and dated, but quaint. Bed was comfortable. Shared TV room with puzzles and books that overlooks Middle Falls, which is lit up at night.

This was our second trip to the Glen Iris inn for lunch. A group of 6 of us rode down on motorcycle. Weekday in October. Beautiful beyond words. Can't beat the location, but the Glen Iris Inn was only so-so. My husband called ahead and we were told no inside reservations left, but maybe outside. Heavy tour bus so we...

The Inn is located inside Letchworth State Park by the middle falls. I booked six months in advance and took the only room they had left - which they warned me was very small. Our room was on the third floor - and - it was very small - but had its own bathroom. There was also a nice library...

The Glen Iris Inn is small, but nice enough and located right at the middle falls in Letchworth State Park - a truly lovely site. One is enough here though - not much to do but hike the area. Parking is tight - sometimes you have to wait for another car to depart to get a space.

After spending a weekend here, where do I begin? First of all, we stayed in the Pinewood lodge, not the actual Glen Iris Inn. The Pinewood is actually an old school 1950's motor lodge type of deal. (unlike the Inn, which is more 1850's!) You park outside the room and walk to your door. Other reviews complain you don't park...

My wife and I stayed at the Glen Iris Inn several years ago and returned there this month for my wife's milestone birthday (I won't say which one). The staff was VERY helpful when I asked for a florist so that roses would be in the room when we arrived. The inn is spectacular. Seeing the view and hearing the...

This Inn, located within Letchworth State Park in Castile, New York was the actual country estate of William Letchworth. He generously donated it to the people of New York and it now functions as charming get-away serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Built in 1859, it is loaded with country warmth and character and contains 12 rooms and 4 luxury suites....
