We stayed for one night at the brookside campground and would not stay there again. We were supposed to have a cabin that slept 8 but it was a trailer that was filthy and looked like no one had used it for at least a year. We went to the check in and the owner was nice enough to give...

Brookside provided us with a nice size site and water and electricity hookup conveniently located. Our only disappointment was the lack of fishing availability (brook was practically empty of water). The great location allowed us to do other things (such as Hudson River Cruise, etc).

First off.. When there is security on a campsite.. Then you know it's bad! The people that camp here are rude and have NO consideration for the people around them! If you want to be up all night with LOUD latin music then this may be for you. After complaining several times to the office about loud music NOTHING was...

Brookside provided us with plenty of room, a very nice campsite, and all the services we expect- water & elect. hookup conveniently located, picnic tables, etc. We had our section of the campground pretty much all to ourselves, so plenty of privacy too. But... if you are planning on being there on the weekend, bring earplugs! the "quiet time" and...

We were part of a group that included about 20 adults/ kids . We had our own private area at the far reaches of the campground called "the point" within sight of the Kiskatom Brook. So lovely, relaxing and bucolic! Within easy walking distance of very clean bathrooms and showers. Nicely groomed camping areas. It was great that there were...

The family that owns the park treated us like family. This park felt like camping used to be when I was a child. It was absolutely charming. When it was time for one of the weekend events, the owner stepped out to play a game with the kids. I did not play, but the parachute volley ball looked like a...

I don't understand any negative reviews here, haters be haters,,, this camp site was awesome. The people who own and run it could not have been nicer or more helpful. The layout is fabulous, easy sites to park, spacious areas in a great location in the Catskills. Lots of activities for kids, nice pool, great game room, awesome brook for...

Can't say enough bad about this place. Primitive does not describe it! And, don't even get me started on the bathrooms... filthy and it costs you to take a shower... The surroundings are lovely ... too bad they don't take care of this place... it could be very special.

Pleasantly surprised. The sites were huge. The grass was freshly cut. It was nice not to deal with mud for a change like at some other places. The bathrooms were amazing. It had laundry facilities and a couple of work out machines. Nice playgrounds and activities. They brought in a rock climbing wall, had archery, and ceramics painting. The owners...

Had a terrible experience, the owners were unpleasant to work with; they did not try to accommodate my needs. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. The rooms were filthy, one of my family members left due to the filth in the rooms. Bonnie and Gerry were unpleasant, rude and money greedy. Save your money and go some where...
