We arrived around 4pm and were greeted immediately by a pleasant young woman at the front desk. She gave us the lay of the land and we headed off to our room. We stayed in Room 2, which was amazing and took our breath away the minute the door opened. Large king bed, huge shower in the bathroom. Beautiful antique...

People were extremely nice and helpful. We stayed in a comfortable room with a view of the lake. We walked into town which is a cozy village with a variety of shops and restaurants. We ate dinner at the Brewster Inn - the food was excellent. The bar is a also a memorable place. We were fortunate to take advantage...

Thank you so much for the kind words! It is a bit quieter this time of year, but Cazenovia is a beautiful place, even coated in snow! Glad you were able to take advantage of the winter package we do -- it puts a nice dent in the dinner bill! Hope to see you both again soon!

we had a room in the main house facing the lake on the 3rd floor stairs not a problem here . We loved our room quiet beautiful view . I wish we could have eaten at their restaurant but our plans would not allow . We did manage a drink at the bar & desert both were exceptional ! We...

Thank you so much for taking a moment to write such kind words. Yes, you must come back - pretty please! We would love to show you a wonderful dinner. Sounds like you had a busy stay but we are delighted that you were able to join us for a drink, dessert and a comfortable stay. Have a great holiday...

We made a reservation about a week ahead and didn't have our first choice of room available, so we reserved room #3, lake view with king bed. The room was spacious enough as was the bathroom. I prefer a head board which this room does not have, and I also prefer easy to deal with (i.e. intuitive) showers. This has...

My husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary at the Brewster Inn in Cazenovia. One word describes the food and service ... Fabulous !!!! We made our reservations earlier the same day. In spite of the short notice, we were seated at a table next to the window overlooking the beautiful lake. The service was the best we have...

Don't stay in room 23. It sits just 30' from the highway and if the noise of the cars doesn't disturb you, the head lights shining through thin blinds, or the foot fall noise from the room above will. Nice people. Great location. Mediocre breakfast.

Thank you for the feedback. We are so sorry to hear that you did not have the experience you hoped for. The carriage house is normally very quiet, as Cazenovia is a quiet town. We hope you consider coming back again to join us for dinner or an overnight in the main building. If you are a light sleeper we...

We had a lovely dinner with drinks. The view of the lake from the terrace is stunning. Our dinner was very good. Everyone had fish (of course). The service was exceptional. We did not stay here but overheard positive comments from guests.

Thank you so much for the nice words! We do get some great fish here. The tuna is flown overnight from Hawaii (less than 8 hours out of water). We go to great lengths to get the best so we appreciate that you notice! Also -- have you tried the mussels! They are huge! And -- just an FYI, the...

This is a very nice place to stay on a large property at the lake's shoreline. A beautiful old inn decorated nicely, rooms very comfortable, free internet, great staff and excellent food in the dining room.

I was attending a wedding in Cazenovia and found this an ideal place to stay as the reception was at the Cazenovia Club just next door. The lakeside setting is very pleasant with an extensive lawn sloping down to the shoreline. I managed to reserve room 1 in the corner tower of the main house, an old summer mansion for...

Our room had a queen bed with a canopy, looking out over Cazenovia Lake, OK, my wife needed a ladder to get into it after a bottle + of wine, but once in bed, it was comfortable and we slept like logs. Shower was a little complicated, but lots of hot water. Very good AC system. Would come back, maybe...

Thank you so much for the kind words! That bed in room in #7 is a tall one for sure, but we are so delighted to hear you had an overall nice stay. And thanks for the mention that the staff is helpful - we always appreciate it, as we try so hard to be accommodating. Glad to know you...
