The room was not really sanitized. There was a tissue in the toilet bowl thats not flushed & the toilet paper on the wall was half way used. With this corona virus everything has to be new & untouched. Also The boiled egg for breakfast was sour “package was sealed but sour” both my wife & I tried different packages and they were both sour. We want to commend also Mr. Sam Carter from the front desk bec he was very helpful and professional.
Stay Report - 1/2 to 1/3 Location: The hotel is located near a major cluster of local roads which include NY 17, NY 32, US 6 and I-87. The interchanges have been redone recently but when I was getting off 87 there was still a major backup to go east on 32. The hotel itself is on the other side of 87 from the outlet malls but its located near a development which as a TGI Fridays, Dunkin Donuts, Uno, Aldi, Michaels and Staples. To get to the hotel you keep driving past everything and it's at the end of the road in a parking lot. Hotel: The hotel itself seems about 10 years old and looks very nice from the outside. There's also more than enough parking. The lobby is a little cramped but the breakfast area is large. Currently breakfast is limited to cold items for grab and go from 7 to 10 but there is coffee 24 hours. Check In: Handled by an indifferent agent who didn't offer me a Diamond welcome amenity and had to be prompted with information about the hotel. Thankfully he was the only unhelpful employee I encountered here. Room: Nice, I like this renovated design as I think it makes the room feel bigger. I had a large bed facing the windows, a couch, a desk and a fridge and microwave combo with coffee maker. The bathroom was also large. Only negative is there were no outlets near the bed. Overall a good property. I'd be back. …
We were there for almost 1 week and the stay was comfortable and clean The services were up to the mark Nevertheless the location of the property is in very close to premium outlets Woodbury and that too at very nominal price
This hotel was beautiful! The customer service was outstanding. Every employee was very helpful and willing to help out. The location is perfect as it is right near the mall with a variety of food locations. Close to West Point as well!
This is not up to Hampton quality. For starters...I was not too impressed with the person who checked us in... functional and efficient but not particularly welcoming...ok no big deal. Next...a number of times I had trouble opening the door to our room using the key. The ice machine on the first floor was broken with no sign indicating that...had to go upstairs. There were what looked like crayon marks on the curtain. The blackout curtains were too short..allowing light in. The bathroom door lock didn't lock. There was no Keurig machine. The microwave was dirty. The final issue occurred when we were leaving. We asked if we could check out at 1130 instead of 11. Amazingly we were told no. After a second request we were granted an 1115 checkout. We travel quite a bit and often request a late check-out. This was THE ONLY time we ever had a problem!!!…
