I've stayed here a few times before and have always been very satisfied. This time, I was blown away by one of the unsung heroes of vacation travel. The room attendant who prepared our room took such care with all the things we take for granted. The towels were folded in an unusual and very pleasing way. Everything was spotless and in an orderly manner. There were alcohol wipes near the phone and remote. I wish I had taken pictures because my words aren't adequate! Thank you for going above and beyond!

Very friendly and welcoming staff! Seriously, every employee I encountered during my visit was very friendly and accommodating. That’s a rarity these days. Daisy was the sweetest ever!!! Room was very comfortable and had everything I needed for a 4 day visit. Nice bedding, comfortable couch, ample kitchenette and a very tasty breakfast. The location is so convenient to all of the Buffalo area and the 12pm checkout is also a bonus. I highly recommend to anyone coming to the area.

We just returned home from a short getaway with our children and grandchild, what a fabulous hotel to stay in, the rooms were spacious and check in was so easy. All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The entire place was spotless including the pool and area around the pool. Breakfast was very good and they kept it replenished with fresh food until everyone had eaten. I would highly recommend this hotel !!!!

This hotel is in a great location, central to most tourist destinations and close to several restaurants. Both the welcome desk staff and the breakfast staff were all very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast selection was very good. The rooms were very spacious. Which is why it is such a shame that we had such a terrible stay at this hotel.
First, the room. The beds were absolutely terrible. The mattress felt like sleeping on a rock and the pillows were so thin that your head went right through them. Even stacking two pillows had no effect. The rooms thermostat had a cooling fan that could not be shut off and the vent was near the beds so no matter what you did with the temperature you still felt chilly at night and the blanket was not warm. The dishwasher was very loud and ran for a long time. The shower drain in the bathtub drained so slow that by the time you got out of the shower you were standing in a pool of water.
The cleaning staff was not good. The night that we checked in the recycling bin still had trash in it. The next day we had to go to the front desk to get dish cleaner because the staff forgot to refill it. From the third night till our fifth night (checkout) they did not make our daughters bed and on our last night they did not make either bed. In addition on our last night they also did not take out our kitchen trash and instead of properly refilling our toilet paper and paper towel they set them on the counter still wrapped.
On the last day of our stay despite checkout being at 11am we received a knock on our door from the cleaning staff at 9am asking if we were leaving yet. We got another knock at around 9:45am and again at 10am, after which the maid proceeded to stand outside our door until we left at about 10:15am.
Lastly, the hotel was under renovation during our stay which we were not made aware of when we booked the hotel. Despite this it was very quiet. However, since we were there for a week we intended on doing our laundry before we left. On our third day the laundry room and fitness center were tore out and the welcome desk staff apologized to us, informing us that they were not notified that renovation in that room would be taking place. As a result we had to take our dirty laundry home.
I would not recommend this hotel and we certainly will not be staying here again.

I encountered an issue during check-out at the Home2 by Hilton today! Despite being a Diamond member and selecting the service dog option when reserving a room, I was unexpectedly charged a pet fee of $75 upon departure, along with additional taxes. When I inquired about these charges, the front desk staff, displaying a dismissive attitude, insisted it was for the service dog. Upon researching Hilton's policy, which typically does not impose fees for service dogs, I returned to the front desk to address the situation. After presenting the policy, the staff consulted their manager and reluctantly reversed the charges, but not without displaying unprofessional behavior (tearing the old receipt in front of me). This experience left me deeply disappointed with the lack of hospitality and respect shown towards me, my service dog, and my family.

We are local. We stayed at this location for one night with the kids to let them swim and have fun as they get stir crazy in the winter time in buffalo. We had three rooms with other family members and their kids. The pool area was ok. But the pool was not heated and was bitter cold. The kids were freezing, shaking and teeth chattering. We were disappointed as they did not want to stay in the pool very long since it was so cold. This was the whole point in coming here. Even if there was at least a hot tub but there was not. We went back to the room to have dinner. The kids decided to give the pool another go. It was obviously still freezing but also half of the lights were out in the pool area. After only about 20 minutes in the pool we were informed by staff that the pool was closing down due to the lights not working. We asked if there was a maintenance person on site to just change the light bulbs. She said no. There was no remorse on the staffs part that the pool had to be shut down. The staff was very impersonal and did not care. The pool is supposed to be open until 11pm and this was 8pm. I understand it had to be closed for safety purposes but it seemed like it would have been and easy fix. It must have just been easier for the staff to shut it down and not deal with it. Thankfully our kids are pretty easily entertained so they were fine going back to the room. It was a wasted trip as we were there for the pool primarily. It was such a disappointment.
Other than all that, the rooms decent and the kitchen areas were very convenient in the room
We will not be back to this hotel as there are many options in the area.

As loyal Hilton members, we gave "Home 2 Suites" a try for the first time. We didn't recognize it immediately as a "pet friendly", or "pet exclusive" facility, and we had by that time unfortunately bought a "non-refundable"rate room. When we discovered this we called the desk to ask for a pet free room (because of our pet allergies), and the manager/front desk said they "did not have pet-free rooms", which was a shock. The manager did say their policy was that a pet "had not stayed in the room for 24 hours" before our visit. The room and the hotel nevertheless smelled, and had pet stains, and we had breathing problems despite 2 days and nights of allergy medicine to make it "tolerable". The common areas, ditto. Breakfast was fine, the staff was friendly, but, again, it seemed like we were staying in a kennel. Avoid it unless you love kennel smells, or must take a pet with you.

We really liked this hotel The fact it's suites with a fridge and microwave and dishes etc. was a great bonus The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning was OK but very crowded with not enough tables to sit. the food ran out quickly. the coffee ran out quickly. Maybe not enough staff for a Sunday morning. Would we return? Yes we would. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants.

The room is spacious with good layout. Very high ceiling and a dividing curtain between beds and sofa area. Perfect for family with kids and pet. Our room is very clean. The pillow cases and bedsheets appear clean but are all wrinkled. The reception's explanation was "that's how they are out of dryer."
Our room faces the highway but it's quiet. I'm a light sleeper. Location is convenient, neighboring Burlington and several restaurants and close to Niagara fall.
Breakfast is open but with very limited options: cereal, oatmeal, sandwiches (for grab-to-go or heat up by microwave), bagel, and omelet-making. Most people don't sit down to eat. Coffee is only provided during the breakfast time.
Beds in our room are not too comfortable, already sagging a bit. The covers for shower gel/shampoo in bathroom keep on falling when you press them to get the gel.
