Every year my family and I go on a holiday trip a few weeks before the actual holidays come. This year with the arrival of my baby niece we wanted to do something low key and relaxing so we chose Alice's. From the moment we walked in to the time we left we felt right at home. The innkeepers Mary...

Mary is a wonderful host, she was very accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the homemade orange marmalade. The location was great for us as we were doing a wedding just up the road at Ramos Ranch. Mary had all kinds of suggestions on what to do in the area. Only downside for me was the cell service...

Walking into Alice's Dowry is like visiting a favorite friend. The rooms are decorated in a style that is fascinating, but also inviting. We stayed in the East room, with it's little sitting room off the bedroom. Mary is a terrific hostess who greats all with a smile. Her breakfasts are delicious, and I found some great cupcakes in the...

We stayed at Alice's Dowry Bed and Breakfast on our way north. Mary was a wonderful host and had the whole place beautifully decorated. We were in the South Room, which was spacious with a bedroom, sitting area and large bathroom. The wallpaper and paint colors captured the Victorian era. The breakfast, including the freshest tasting eggs we have had,...

I went to Alice's dowry to talk to the owner about opening a bed and breakfast. Mary showed me around the B&B and talked with me. It was a very cute place and I defintiely plan on going there for one of their teas. Not to mention Mary was one of the sweetest people I've ever met!

First experience at a bed and breakfast and it was a beautiful one. The house is absolutely gorgeous, preserved in all its glory. Host and owner Mary is very sweet, gracious, and incredibly accomodating. The North Room, where we stayed, was super comfortable and cozy and offered a warm, quiet place to sleep. The breakfast was all homemade and delicious,...

Excellent place to stay and enjoy the sites, country side, sports attractions and food. The stay at the B&B was wonderful and quiet, and the breakfasts (and special dinner) were outstanding. Special teas are also available. The owners have done a wonderful job of preserving the character of the building and the property. It was corn and blueberry season when...

Stayed here with my mom and 3 month old daughter while visiting family in the area. A charming place from the grounds to the rooms. Mary's breakfasts were delicious! She even helped nurse me back to health when I got sick one day! Visited Ithaca and Cortland during our time here. Love the quaint towns!
