We stayed in room #4 (2nd floor) for two nights. Picked this B&B based on its proximity to the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center - Josh Groban concert. We have stayed in a number of B&B's and this one is near the top of our list. Having a breakfast menu was a treat and there was a dish to please...

All of the staff here at Asa Ransom thank you for the very favorable comments on your stay. We try to provide a comfortable stay for all guests, weather its a quite relaxing time on one of five outdoor porches, or directions to one of Western New York's many many great attractions. More and more of our returning guests are...

In June, my husband and I and some friends stayed for two nights at the Asa Ransom House. The rooms are decorated very nicely and the grounds are lovely. We stayed in Room 8, which is a large room on the lower level with a seating area and a separate entrance and porch. The problem I had with the room...

Dear Barbara, We are sorry your visit was not up to your expectations. I have not had any comments this year on a musty order in room 8. We have had a very unusual humid spring/summer, but to eliminate any future possible orders developing, i have trimmed the outside foliage on this south side facing room. I will check on...

Step back in time to elegant decor and delicious food. You'll want to take your time here enjoying the ambience. If you're looking for the perfect B&B experience, book one of their rooms. Each room is appointed differently, so you might want to go online and find your favorite.

Hi, Your description of your stay here at Asa Ransom is typical of what one finds when you stay at a Country Inn when traveling. It gives you more flavor of the area, with the Innkeeper very knowledgeable of the places of interest in the area. Thank you for visiting, its what makes Innkeeping rewarding! Sincerely, Innkeeper Bob

Great location, delicious breakfast in a large dining room (souffle = yumm) and a very helpful and friendly gentleman at the reception desk. We did not lack for anything and our antique furnished room was lovely. We did have our own bathroom btw. I would recommend this b & b and I hear their dinners are pretty spectacular.

My husband and I stopped in at the Asa Ransom House as part of a shopping trip to the States. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and shown up to our room on the first floor. The room was nicely appointed with antiques and a plate of fruit, cheese and crackers were waiting for us - a very nice touch!...

We last stayed here 11 years ago and were v much looking forward to a return. We arrived and nothing had changed but that was the problem. Greeting excellent but downhill thereafter. Room still dated and dark and lights that don't help much nor do the antiquated bathroom fixtures, including a v noisy "loo". A wooden floor-no apparent carpet-in the...

We are very sorry and sad for your unhappy experience on your visit. Your room was in the 1993 edition, with very 'green' and energy efficient toilets (works on air pressure and uses only 1 gallon of water). The air pressure is not as quiet, but only lasts seconds. The vanity is DuPont Sand Stone and towels are warmed by...

Dear Susan M, We appreciate your review of the Asa Ransom House. We love guests that enjoy all the little touches that the staff work so hard on to make one's visit memorable. One of the small touches we receive many comments on is the classical music softly playing in each room compliments of WNED - our public radio station....

Asa Ransom House was absolutely charming. This was my first B&B experience. Stayed on a Monday night & walked in to a romantically lit fireplace in the living room.
