Detailed Reviews
Pros: A great location with restaurants and stores in the area. Spacious room with cute decor. Clean enough - not immaculate but I didn’t feel like it was too dirty to stay. Small fridge in room. Parking available. Quiet stay.
Cons: everything else…bed was horribly uncomfortable and the pillows were thin. Sheets and towels were worn and cheap feeling. Water takes several minutes to heat up for showers. Holes in ceiling lobby with buckets to catch water drips. Paid Breakfast buffet was two hot plates and some fruit on ice so went elsewhere. Up charge for paying via card that was not disclosed ahead of time. Lack of upkeep and pride in the rooms is apparent (I.e. towel bar falling off wall, toilet paper holder crooked so roll is falling off, door handle missing on closet). Indoor pool looked cloudy so was nice to have on site but did not attempt to use.
Overall, the stay was not worth the cost with so many other options available in the area. A shame because I think the potential is there, but the owners don’t seem to care enough about the place to keep it in good repair.

I was hesitant about our stay after reading the reviews, but I found the hotel adequate for our overnight stay. We were in town for a concert at SPAC, check in was smooth, the front desk clerk was curtious and helpful. The drive to the concert was only about 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes of parking lot traffic.
Breakfast was lackluster to say the least, but the room was comfortable. The bed was fantastic, contrary to previous reviews. Our room had a jetted tub that was very long and comfortable for my 6’ stature, but not quite large enough for two tall people… we had a beautiful glass walled shower in the bathroom as well. The hotel has strict smoking policies that you sign off on at check in, but it didn’t seem enforced so much when it came to marijuana. Not complaining, just something to look out for if you’re sensitive to that.

Hotel was very, very nice, room was clean, bed was comfy. Staff was super. Our only complaint is that it was advertised as having a bar and restaurant and it had neither. I think maybe it did at some point but didn’t when we were there. There are a few restaurants within walking distance however so we just walked to a nearby restaurant. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

While the room was very spacious and clean there was a consistent smoke/burnt wood stay that was hard to ignore. The toilet needed to be plunged twice and our room key stopped work every single day we were here. Not worth the money at all.

Terrible stay. This hotel is filthy and not clean at all. My dust mite allergies were triggered immediately upon entering the room. We rented two rooms and one had a really funky smell that was probably cigarette smoke covered up with perfume.
The bathrooms were not clean, the toilet was not clean, the shower was not clean. The towels were very old and getting threadbare. A couple of tiny shampoo bottles, and no bar of soap. There were only two coffee pods with a Keurigg, one regular, and one decaf, so we had to fight over the one cup of coffee in the morning.
We left early because we couldn’t stand the dust. Not clear they have ever vacuumed in here? All the surfaces look like they had not been wiped down recently.
Additionally, you pay 5% extra for a credit card, breakfast is not included and costs an extra $12, there is no lunch, dinner or bar service.
Overall a massive disappointment and we both feel sick from having slept in this place. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. You have been warned.

I found a deal on Expedia for a room for one night at Park Manor. Since I visit the area frequently, I was hoping this would be my new home base when I visit. The price was right thanks to Expedia, and the reservationist I spoke to before my arrival, was excellent since I have some extra needs due to allergies.
Check in was not as quick and easy as I had hoped because the credit card machine shut down, and a reboot was necessary before I could move some of my things to my room. I had an appointment that I was concerned about getting to, which I barely made on time.
When I returned to the hotel in the early evening, both the TV and Wi-Fi were not working. I went to the front desk to inquire, since no phone use instructions were given. It seems there is a special password and process to get both that the front desk staff did not tell me about at check in. After getting the instructions I returned to my room, prepared to go to bed early to rest after an exhausting day of travel and appointments.
The bed appeared to be lumpy and poorly made. I pulled back the blankets to find out why it was so lumpy, and found that it had an oversized, ill- fitting mattress pad under the bottom sheet which had been folded over.
When I removed the sheet to try to lay the mattress pad flat, the mattress pad had blood stains on it in four places. I was appalled and nauseated that the staff thought that was acceptable.
I took the mattress pad down to the front desk and the staff member apologized and offered to have someone come to remake the bed. After waiting 10 minutes, I went down to the front desk again, and requested a room change. After waiting another 10 minutes and not feeling well, I went to my room and a young man came with the keys for the new room.
He assisted me with the move to the new room, apologized over and over for the inconvenience, and helped me to a room one floor up. It was now after 9 PM.
I did not use the shower or any amenities because I was unsure of the cleanliness and tried to settle down to sleep. At 11 PM I was awakened by doors slamming and loud noise in the hallway. It was after midnight before I slept. Awakened to noise at 6 AM.
The hotel has one elevator, so it can get crowded waiting for it on any floor. A family of four with luggage and strollers can fill the elevator. Masks not worn by anyone, so it is up to the guest to choose how to social distance.
It was disappointing that the staff did not comp the room or discount the price. Was the service bad because I booked through Expedia?

Where to begin….Look for somewhere else to stay.
I’m sure this place was decent many years ago. Do not let the online photos deceive you. This entire hotel is very very dirty.
Lord only knows if the hallway carpets have ever been cleaned. The elevator carpet is disgusting!!
It’s 9pm right now and they are vacuuming the hallway.
Terrible customer service…they do not speak to you.
Many broken items in our room; lamp, Keurig coffee maker, thermostat, door bar lock, coffee cups.
Entry light burnt out. Same for our parents room. They also had a burnt out light in their bathroom. They also have no coffee in their room for their coffee maker. They have a microwave, our room does not.
After our room was cleaned today. They took all dirty towels except 1 washcloth and the bath mat. Bath towels were replenished but no new hand or washcloth towels were left. They took the body wash out of the shower but did not replace. No Kleenex in the room.
Buffet breakfast that is offered daily is NOTHING. Seriously nada. You have to go place an order of what you want. That is not a breakfast buffet as advertised.
Went into the bar the first night. It was empty except for about 8 regulars who were friends with the bartender. All looked at us as were showed up uninvited to their party. Needless to say we left.
Coffee in the lobby - No cups.
LOW water pressure.
Disappointing all around.

Charged $25 as an early check in fee: a bit ridiculous when it was 2:15pm and check in time is 3:00pm. Pool non operational ( only a sign on front desk) was not posted on their website as was told by the front desk. Walls are paper thin could hear guest in the next room talking and their tv which awoke us at 6:00am. They were not trying to be disturbing( as management tried to say) simply paper thin walls.Have a video I showed front desk to confirm it. I have traveled enough to know the difference. Poor response from management on duty, excuses foot each issue. Had to argue with them to remove the $25 fee. Simply poor business practice. These new owners should relook at the property and process moving forward. The room however was clean thanks to housekeeping.

This hotel is horrendous. Don’t believe the good reviews, they mostly work for the hotel. They had a party in the reception area near the lobby and you can here the music and the base shaking the room violently at 11pm. The hotel (frat house) didn’t care that half the floor was complaining and that we had a toddler trying to sleep. Why they put non-party guests right above the reception and the party guests elsewhere throughout the hotel gotta make you wonder. The following morning the general manager was apologetic and promised we’d be refunded and it turns out she LIED. Clifton Park needs to shut down this party house dump.
