Not bad for the only place in town. 1 night in a double bed was ok, was clean, but room showed some areas of age, that you just cant get clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Due to covid, the breakfast was a packed lunch. Still was decent
I had a very pleasant experience at the Cobleskill Super 8 and highly recommend it. It was very clean and the staff was very curteous. The rooms were clean and warm. They offer breakfast and free coffee in the morning.
We will stay at this resort again in the future. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is clean and is following COVID protocols. The rooms and beds are comfortable and clean. The hotel is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants.
I'm a Cobleskill native and often have stayed at this property over the years, in spite of its decline in the 10's. Recently remodeled, it still seems to be a bit overpriced. Unfortunately, my most recent trip added even more to the final bill. I reserved two rooms for six days (about $1000) through Hotels.com. I made the reservation within 24 hours because my father had passed away and my family was headed up for the funeral. Unfortunately, I encountered a delay that pushed my trip one day forward. I worked with Hotels.com who, in consultation with the Cobleskill property, simply moved the entire stay one day forward. Same number of days, same price, no penalty. Fast forward a few weeks later - I have a lingering charge on my credit card for a day's stay for two rooms ( higher price than the one I paid for the room, I might add) that ultimately turns out to be a penalty for not arriving on the original first night, even though Hotled.com ensured I wouldn't be charged. The front desk insists it's Hotels.com, and Hotels.com says it's the Super 8. Multiple calls to the property have gotten me nowhere, as they insist only the general manager can help. Outside of the poor service and continuing fight over this outrageous charge, we stayed in a king room with easily the worst mattress I've ever slept on - and I've spent serious time in some third-world countries. There just seems to be a general lack of pride in this facility.…
I am still in pain from the cheap mattress in room 218. The hotel was fine as was the location. I am currently wearing a back brace from my 2 night stay on that mattress. I have requested a full refund of the 30,000 wyndham rewards points I used to make the booking. Waiting for a response.
