My last visit to the Tunnicliff was about 20+ years ago, it hasn't changed. The central location can't be beat. The room (217) was spacious and clean, if not a little cluttered. The shower was very small but adequate. The breakfast buffet had enough variety of hot and cold items. It is a good value for the money. My only...

We were aware prior to our stay that the Tunnicliff Inn was an old building with squeaky and uneven floors and small bathrooms. We accepted this in return for the excellent location and the very good rating given by this site. What we weren't aware of when we arrived was that there was a very noticeable mildew/mold smell throughout the...

This 17 room inn, opened in 1802, has all you need to visit the Hall of Fame. It's location on Pioneer St. Is a 2 mt walk from the Hall on Main St. The inn has all modern conveniences such as AC in the rooms and WiFi in the lobby. Our room had all one needs (TV, DVD player, etc.)...

Check-in was friendly and helpful. We felt this historic inn had old world charm. Our room, the Council Rock Executive King Room, on the first floor level, was well-decorated, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom with shower was small, but adequate and clean. When our flatscreen TV would not turn on, the problem was remedied by a visit from the manager...

Ditto ej667's review from 8/20. We had the same room on 8/22 and were extremely disappointed. We checked in at 4pm and left by 9pm after realizing there was no way our kids would sleep in that room. Great location but a very shabby interior.

First trip to Cooperstown and made all arrangements last minute. Very accommodating in setting up the reservation and check in was pleasant and very helpful information. The room was small, the bathroom smaller, but all was comfortable, and the flat screen was a nice addition even if I wasn't in Cooperstown to lay about watching tv. Perfect location, across from...

The inn and its furnishings are truly shabby. The carpet upstairs is old wall to wall and it sits in stretched out puddles. We were in king suite with torn bed skirt and throw pillows, thin, limp sheets from a bed-in-a-bag ensemble that was sold about 8 years ago. The sofa sagged almost to the floor. the window blinds are...

This was my first time at the Tunnicliff Inn and I was suprised at how small my room was. The bad thing about it was the bed was very uncomforable. There was one small window and half of it was taken up with an A/C, so there was barely any light in the room. The tv was very small. The...

Very nice overnight stay at the Inn. If the bathroom had been a little bigger, it would have been perfect. We had room 211 on the first floor, a nice-sized king room. Fridge, coffee maker with all necessary supplies, big flatscreen with blu-ray player. Very clean. The bathroom was sufficient but very small. Incredible location in downtown Cooperstown. Very helpful...

My husband and I stayed at the Tunnicliff Inn to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The Inn is in walking distance of everything in the charming village of Cooperstown, and the Baseball Hall of Fame is right around the corner. We were able to check in early and the person working the desk assisted us with finding parking behind the...
