I had a whole trip planned for Cooperstown. I originally had reservations for a hotel about 40 minutes away from Main st. I live five hours away from the original hotel, so when they rejected me you can imagine I was frustrated and stressed. I was rejected because I was apparently too young? Being 20 years old that baffled of my mind. I paid for the hotel and reserved it, The original hotel asked for my birthday so they knew how old I was when I gave them money. The lady at the original hotel looked down on me and treated me as if I was five because I was six months away from being 21. So in desperation my boyfriend searched up places that you could get legally under 21 years old. We happened to find this place! I was extremely stressed and flustered. The girl who picked up the phone was the sweetest human. She understood I was basically in tears trying to find a place she helped me through every step of the process. We had to drive 40 minutes from the original hotel to this place. Once I got there I went to the office I was beyond frustrated with the whole situation from the other hotel. The woman at the front desk was amazing immediately cheering me up telling me it’s OK I have a place to stay. She even gave me a room with a gorgeous view! I had a group of three, the room was a perfect size it was very homey. I only really had problems with the front door it was a little hard to open. We only stayed one night but the service we got was amazing. Once I got up to my room the amazingly kind lady at the desk called my room and asked if everything was OK and how I liked it. The room has plenty of places to plug in phones which was perfect for my teenage brother who didn’t want to leave the room to explore! Me and my boyfriend walked around the area and it’s gorgeous, seems like a very safe area for if you have younger children. There are two pools one inside and one outside. The outside pool was the one me and my boyfriend ended up going into! It was super clean, great temperature, and so relaxing! I would 100% recommend this place over a hotel! Additionally if your trip intention is to go to Cooperstown, The ride is 15 minutes! It was amazing!! The view on your drive to Cooperstown is beautiful, hills and lake!…
Had a great visit to lake and pines. Room and amenities are top notch. Management is accommodating and super friendly. Bed was super comfortable and slept like a rock. Would stay here again and again for sure. Thanks for a great trip!!
I had a great time staying a couple nights at the Lake N’ Pines motel. They offered a lot of amenities that surprised me like a game room that has a pool table and arcade games for kids as well as an indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. It’s also located right on Glimmerglass lake so you wake up to the beauty of the lake and can walk right to it. The staff was also really friendly and kind with anything me and my friend needed!
I was invited by a friend to spend the weekend at Lake n Pine and since that weekend have been three more times. I can’t say enough about this place. I have also brought different people with me every time and all of they loved it too. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and love the pillows. The outside pool is the perfect size and has plenty of chairs around it. And the views of lake are amazing and it’s quiet there. When I was there the three times everyone staying was supper nice and I made friends. Would highly recommend to others.
I did not expect to love this motel this much. It has a campy feel that can’t be beat. The location and scenery is gorgeous! The room is large and my family of 5 was comfortable in a 2 queen bed room. The pools were fantastic and the hot tub was just the thing I needed after a long day at the ball diamond. Due to COVID we didn’t get the continental breakfast which was a bummer but we understood. Overall, I would stay here and bring my family back again for a long weekend!
