After reading the influx of negative reviews right before our big camping party, yes PARTY, I was concerned. However, the reviews that reference FOX HILL CAMPING seem suspicious to me (competitors maybe?). The campground is great, I am not sure where all these other people were staying. Yes, the sites are a little close together and a little tight, and... More

My wife and I camped here over the weekend for our wedding anniversary. One of the main reasons we chose this campground is that it was one of the few open for the full weekend unlike most other campgrounds in the bordering New England states that were closed the week before or halfway through the week. We also went to... More

If you want to meet up with friends, this is NOT the place to go. If you're an old drunk guy all by yourself who wants to bring his lazy boy out by the fire then sign right up! Was supposed to have an exciting weekend with friends until one "regular" decided to be more than rude and scream at... More

This place was great! Large camping sites, showers & restrooms near by as well as running water. You can also drive up to your spot, you a fire pit & picnic table and you can even set up late at night! No need to rush if you work late, they are quite accommodating for the price!

This is a lovely state park -- one of the oldest in NYS -- filled with natural beauty and historical interest. Lots of space to camp, but even more for hiking, biking and swimming (in a gorgeous, deep spring-fed pool with lifeguards!). The adjacent tiny hamlet has an adequate campstore, bike shop and a great old-school country tavern/restaurant featuring live... More

We stayed at the Bash Bins cabin area. Cabin number 4. The cabins are in a beautiful picturesque wooded area overlooking the Bash Bish river. You can't beat the sound of the water when your relaxing by the fire. You can take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear water. Right from the cabin you can hike to the Bash... More

A few friends and I stayed at site B70. Considering a big storm was coming, the place was pretty empty. The storm didn't really hit but we did get some rain the first night during setup. There is no Camp Store on premises but right across the street from the entrance is a great little deli/ general store. As far... More

My husband I have been camping here for over 20 years. It is not far and has lots of great hiking trails. There a lot of sites that are close together so it is great for groups. Choose a site around the outer edge if you are looking for privacy. The state has made a lot of great upgrades to... More

We camped in 84c. We had planned a family outing and had other relatives near by in 83c. Sewage was bubbling right under the camper in 83c. The smell in 84 where we were was awful. Did not notice until after we all set up towards evening. We endured a night and went to park office where employees said that... More

Horrible, we stayed in a cabin in section bb, cabin smelled horrible, the bed were like sleeping on a rock, there was nothing that stated the cabins were up a steep hill, no parking next to cabin so you had to carry all your stuff up the hill, kitchen in cabin had a broken stove with mouse poop all over,...
