Friendly staff, convenient bathrooms and showers. They sell firewood at the campsite and have beach access. Campsites are pretty close together and close to the road. Overall a great experience. Not much in the local town, but Tupper lake is close.

We've been coming here for years and love this place. We always get a site next to the water because we canoe. First time we came, I was shocked because there wasn't electric, but we quickly adjusted. Haven't experienced any heavy partiers here, very quiet, bathrooms are better than most, only 1 shower building which is not in any camping...

We have been here once before and returned again this year. The campground is very clean and well kept. The showers were nice and hot (and clean). This year we booked a waterfront site and it was amazing! We had ducks visit every morning and our 1 year got to swim and use her sandbox toys down in the sand....

Couldn't see the lake from road. The only way to launch a canoe was from the very tiny beach that had a very tiny parking lot. The showers were cold and we had to leave the park to access the store and to fish. The camp sites were very small and rocky and difficult to stake a tent on (very...

Took a look at the Cranberry Lake Campground located near Cranberry Lake, NY. Some of the early work done here was by the CCC's and we wanted to take a look at history. Did not camp here, but very familiar with state campgrounds and found this to be one of nicest that I have ever seen. Beautiful Lake views, water...

Quiet, serene and rustic to say the least. Very woodsy and scenic area to camp. Be sure to get a site near the water-the views cannot be beat! We selected a site near the water-Number 89. It had great views and lots of shade. Dog friendly park/area and great trails to hike. Take the time to check out the Bear...

We got a site back away from the water. We arrived on a Monday and left on Friday. Almost no one there. Caretakers and workers were nice and pleasant. Campground was amazing. Did the Bear Mountain Lookout trail. It was a bit of a workout when walking your dog and are out of shape but just beautiful. Very pet friendly...

We stayed here in July and what an awesome time! The campground is big and has water front sites right on the lake. There is a nice beach area on the lake for swimming and picnicking. The bathrooms are very cleanly (and the showers too!). There was not any cell phone reception at our site which was nice! It was...

We stayed for two nights here. The only unfortunate thing about our stay was the poor weather conditions, which meant that we weren't able to fully explore our surroundings. The site we stayed in was nice and we will book this particular site again in the future. I was also happy to have read the review about sites 22/23: there...

We did not stay at this campsite, but did the Bear Mountain hike, which was pretty easy and pleasant. I believe the whole hike is one mile or maybe even less. We happened to end up at the campsite and it seemed like a very nice campsite. The hike can be done by most people. If you return on the...
