Stayed there this past summer to find everything closed except for the hotel and a small store that has nothing in it. Used to be so beautiful but the outside is slowly falling apart. The view is amazing! The room is a bit pricing, but compared to anything within a 15 miles radius, it's the best. There's no TV/Cable FYI....

Wanted to stop in at the lodge but found out it was closed. Talked to the locals in the area and found out the owner is wealthy and is now going to use it for his personal getaway. Huge loss. Not a place you can stay at or eat at.

This places used to rock with a great restaurant , a very popular bar and a large hotel and several smaller rooms. Now its nearly closed with only the larger hotel open. Such a shame. Now the only place to eat is the Shamrock Hotel, which is fairly darn good, but crowded.

Rude. We recently (end of October, 2014) traveled to Cranberry from Cleveland, OH for a wedding. This was our 2nd stay at the Lodge. Don't believe what you see on the internet. The lakefront deck is in severe need of repair and paint. Some of the few electrical outlets that were in the room didn't work. The fire alarm for...

If you are looking for a place to stay while in Cranberry Lake , the Lodge was clean, comfortable and reasonable. Unfortunately, their bar/restaurant is not open. We had a lake view room-- the deck was small but still nice to have the waterview. Right next to town beach. Much better than we expected.

This used to be a great place to have a few drinks and dinner (not too fancy) after a day of being outdoors. Now only the hotel is open. Its fairly basic, but with only the hotel being available, there is one place to eat. Stone Manor is a great little diner across the street. I hope someday the Cranberry...

This is a edit: I had posted this originally for the Cranberry Lake Campgrounds but I meant it for the Cranberry Lake Lodge. We stayed at the lodge the first night. The lodge's rooms are very comfortable. They have a boat rental area, a restaurant, and a general store. Then next 2 nights we camped at Joe Indian island, camp...

My husband and I left the end of may to the adirondacks not knowing where we were going to stay. We ended up at Cranberry Lake Lodge on friday night. The only room left was a front room which was very nice. They are all redone in the log type furnishings. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service...

enjoyed our one nite stay but if staying longer get the lake view and balcony rooms. We enjoyed the bar and the staff was friendly. I would stay again and rent a boat. Our stay was very short on our way to Montreal Jazz Fest. Bring bug repellent for evening and sunset.

There are several room options here. It is worth calling ahead to book a balcony room with the lake view. The balcony is narrow and the other two or three rooms on the lake side open out on the same open balcony, but that adds to the old neighborhood yard feeling. The lodge is mere yards from the lake, the...
