We are currently here and have 1 more night. If it weren’t for losing out $100+, we would go elsewhere. We will be coming back to this area next week and have booked a different hotel. We have stayed at several Embassy locations and even this one (DURING its remodel). During the remodel this hotel was much better than it is now. Let’s start with the filthy table and windows in our room. There was something smeared across the table. Thankfully we bring our own Clorox wipes. The windows are awful. It looks like they were wiped with a super wet dirty washcloth and left to just drip dry. The vents, especially the bathroom are caked with dust. The hook on the bathroom door is broken. Stains on the couch. There was what appeared to be pubic hair on the bed when we turned the sheets down. They say there is laundry on site, but good luck. No change machine and 1 of 2 dryers is broken. Went to front desk to get change and while I was able to get the change, I felt like I was inconveniencing the lady behind the desk. (She was the same lady who on our second day here ignored us when we went down to ask for toilet paper (there was only the roll on the holder in our room and it was almost gone). She was talking to another staff member but never looked at us and said “I’ll be right with you” or anything. Only when we walked away did she yell, “can I help you?”) That same day, after I finally got change, went and put clothes in washer. Someone else had clothes in dryer, finished. Remember, it’s the ONLY dryer working. Went back 15 mins later and when my wash finished, couldn’t pit it in dryer because the person STILL hadn’t come and taken their laundry out. Apparently you’re not supposed to take someone else’s laundry out (due to COVID and all). Went to front desk and same lady was kinda like , “oh well, we can’t touch them, but I’ll see if I can get maintenance.” Maintenance guy showed up about 20 mins later and removed the laundry. Perhaps a sign to customers advising them to not leave laundry unattended or for hours would help here? The breakfast is ok but it’s the exact same thing EVERYDAY. Breakfast crew is very pleasant tho. Today, would LOVE to do our wash before jetting our tomorrow, but nah. No change available. (Obviously we will travel with quarter rolls from now on). The crappy part is, the staff doesn’t really care. They’re too busy on their phones or in the back room. This specific hotel is not what it used to be. It’s dirty, many of the staff aren’t very friendly (thankfully there are a FEW that are). Have a great stay!

My girlfriend and I both just stayed at this hotel and it's our first time being in it before it was remodeled. They did very well during the remodel except we do have some concerns. Front desk isn't exactly helpful, however one lady was very friendly to us, but overnight they're hidden away and sometimes will take a few minutes to pop out from the little room they're usually hiding away in. The hotels in room phones are not working because the lines weren't properly installed during renovation. When we first came into the room we noticed that it wasn't properly cleaned, the sheets were stained, the sink had old food in it, the refrigerator was and still is gross, and lastly the bathroom vanity was disgusting as well. But besides those minor flaws, the hotel itself is great.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. The bathroom was worn, with shaky plumbing. The rooms are spacious enough and sufficient, the lobby has great sitting areas where you can hang out and watch TV with a small group. Breakfast is sufficient although nothing special (eggs, potatoes, yogurt, pastry, juice). The real attraction for breakfast is Moe. He is so pleasant, always has a positive thing to say, lots of personality and ensures your breakfast and time is as good as can be. This hotel is a much better value than the other Embassy Suites at Destiny USA unless you need to be at the mall.

The hotel was clean, accessible, and super quick check in and checkout. Overall, they attended to my needs after a long wait at the airport and it was so nice to come to a clean and ready room after a long night.

The hotel, is beautiful. It would have been nice to experience all of the amenities if not for COVID. My children were not able to use the pool because all of the time slots were filled. What would be nice would be if you were able to get a time slot at the time of reservation. My children had to use the pull out sofa bed and you could feel the springs through the mattress. We asked for a couple of blankets as there was no extra bedding provided in the room. We were told we might be able to get 1 blanket because they are often stolen. There were two containers on hair conditioner and no shampoo. I went to call the front desk to ask that whoever was bringing a blanket to our room, if they could also bring a shampoo. The phone was not working. When I went to the front desk I was told that the phone lines were cut during remodeling. We did receive a blanket, 3 sheets and a pillow. However, the blanket we received looked "used", if you catch my drift. My husband took it back down and asked for different one. He was told it was static clean. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. We received another one. We used the blanket to give my daughter extra patting on the horrible mattress. It was a good thing I told them to bring a pillow and a blanket. The woman at the front desk was very nice and like I said, the hotel was beautiful. Our experience was not so much, to say the least.

Hello there, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review regarding your recent stay with us. I'm very happy you enjoy our new look, but am dismayed with some of the housekeeping issues that occurred during your stay. The fuzzy blankets weren't removed from rooms dur to people "stealing" them. We took them out for safety and sanitation to ensure they were fresh and untouched. As things have gotten better, we have started to place them back in rooms, and I am very sorry your room was one that we hadn't replaced yet. I appreciate you bringing these issues to my attention so that I may address them with my staff, to rectify any future issues. The pool is simply the worst right now. I am so sorry your kiddos weren't able to get a reservation. Admittedly, we are doing our best to accommodate as many as we can, while still adhering to state and county guidelines, and we assure you we cannot wait for these guidelines to lift! It breaks our heart to have to disappoint the kids if the reservations get booked up. I appreciate your time and information. If there is anything I can do to make it right for you, please reach out to the hotel directly at (315)446-3200, and I will be happy to assist!
