We would have to say that this Inn was the most fun during our six week bed/breakfast/inn vacation in the mountains. Mark and his wife are terrific hosts. All staff could not have been more professional and willing to please. We rented a pontoon boat to float around the lake and asked if there was some place we could purchase... More

My Boyfriend and I orrignally booked our trip through group on August 12-14th, but due to a car malfunction we had to call "The Big Moose Inn" on the day of our check inn and tell the owner we couldn't make it. The owner was understanding and kindly moves our reservation to August 23-25, 3 days and two nights. When... More

Our wedding weekend at the Big Moose Inn: my husband's family has been going to the Adirondacks for the past 40+ years. Since there were multiple families and friends, we decided on a place that we could all stay, host an event, and eat. I read everything online, everything on Trip Advisor and Yelp. The truth as I see it:... More

We sat by the windows and enjoyed diner as the sun set over Big Moose lake. The wine list is impressive and should satisfy most palates and wallets. Duck was tasty as was the rack of lamb. The hostes and our waiter were friendly and very accommodating. Worth a return visit

We loved the Inn and you couldn't ask for a more friendly hostess working the front desk. She had an amazing personality. I'm more than impressed with the staff and would put this place on my list to visit again. Thank You

The big moose inn is an old style lodge that's quiet and cozy. It sits right on the lake and if you get a room that faces the lake you can watch the sunrise. The lodge is very old school and is stuck in the 60's/1970's. The rooms are very small but adequate for a couple. The food prices are... More

We traveled up to this region in the Adirondacks and decided to check out this restaurant that a few people told us about. After turning down the dirt road leading us to this wonderful restaurant and Inn , what a fantastic surprise it was ! The location was a perfect place that sits on the shore of a beautiful lake... We stayed at the Big Moose Inn July 2 and 3 of this year, and we had a great time! We thought the dinners were superb, and we particularly liked the family feeling of the Inn. At night the bar was filled with a lively mix of Big Moose homeowners and locals. Everyone had a great time watching the World... More
