A 2 hours drive will lead you to the calmness of Cuba in Alentejo. A very friendly staff and comfortable and functional rooms to enhance your experience during your stay. Refresh yourself in one of the pools and your sights with the landscape at day and sky at night.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. It is in the country and you need a car to get to it. It is situated in a beautiful part of the dehesa where you can't even see any other houses or farms. The pool has an amazing view, but the water is pretty cold. The room was nice but the bed was quite squeaky and the jacuzzi tub wouldn't fill because you couldn't keep the stopper down. The breakfast was first rate, a real treat. It was a great base from which to explore Beja and Évora and the price would have been worth it, if the tub were functioning properly. We would probably give them another try. Andrea was very niceand we communicated even though she ddin't speak Spanish or English (not to mention that we don't speak Portuguese). Good for couples.

Relaxing spot in the landscape of Alentejo. With a refined and beautiful decoration is a perfect place to spend a relaxing escape with excellent installations far way from the crowds. The place where you can find yourself and be in contact with nature. The staff is kind, friendly and very helpful. A five star family hotel.

My husband booked this inn and I couldn't find much about it so I was worried----shouldn't have been as it was a 10! At the end of a vacation, most of our lodgings blend together but this will be well remembered as charming, tasteful and really just perfect. It is a little, new, country inn with four rooms and Ana let us see each of them---all different and beautifully furnished. Ana, our meeter, greeter, was so helpful and gracious. Our breakfast was presented beautifully and had a nice variety of choices on the buffet. There was a pool but it was too early in the season to use it. The inn's location is perfect for ventures into Evora or Beja. If I were planing a future trip to Portugal, I would use this as a 3 day stay and venture off to explore in a different direction each day. Families would enjoy its outside areas as well.

We were in Monte do Mato dos Homens for the Vitifrades fair in the first weekend of December. It was already very cold in Alentejo, but here we found the warmth and cosiness that was lacking outside. The family is very nice and welcoming, making the best for you to feel at home. The room we stayed in, the biggest one in the house, is really enormous and very comfortable. The decor os rustic and full of handcraft items made by one of the owners. Breakfast was very nice, with fresh bread and fruit and cereals. We told them one of us only drank soy milk, and the next day they had one jar for us. Very lovely and would definetely return.
