My husband and I needed to get away from everyday NYC life! The most perfect place for a relaxing get away. Beautiful rooms near great restaurants and vineyards, 8 mins away from the local beach. The inn keeper Sylvia is a most gracious hostess! We can't wait to come back and enjoy a delicious breakfast out on the deck!

We had a very nice stay with Sylvia at her B&B. Great host and great food! And in such a lovely and quiet area of Long Island, but you are still within 15-30 minute walking distance to a few of the restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place!

Just returned from a wonderful 20th Anniversary get-away with my amazing husband. We arrived at Quintessentials and were immediately impressed with the grounds, the cleanliness, and the lovely tea and cookie offering. We typically stay in larger hotels and weren't certain how we'd take to a B&B-- all it took was Owner, Sylvia's welcome (and her AMAZING corned-beef hash!) to...

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Quintessential for our 1 year anniversary. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and the house is so quaint. The spa treatment was great but the food was the best part of our stay. I wish we could go again just for the amazing breakfasts prepared here! Silvia, our host, made us...

Quintessential is everything you can want from a B&B experience. From decor to decorum; soup to nuts. How can somewhere so new feel so much like home to me? Our meal was extremely tasty. We were received and sent off like family, yet and still we had plenty of privacy. My short stay was memorable and I'm a seasoned traveler....

I was looking for a last-minute spa retreat for me and my girlfriend for Valentine's getaway. With all big hotels/resorts being overbooked months in advance, I had to pick something of a smaller scale and, boy, am I glad I ran into Quintessentials. This is the perfect B&B experience for me. * A lovely, well-traveled, well-educated, well-prepared host, who is...

What perfect night in a perfect location! From the moment we walked into the house, Sylvia made us feel like we were family. From the afternoon tea and freshly baked cookies to the outrageously delicious brunch the next morning, Sylvia was the perfect host. We loved chatting with the other guests and Sylvia around brunch. We will be back!

we stayed in the Negril room for two nights. great bed, room, balcony!! Sylvia, the owner, is wonderful. She makes everyone feel right at home. From the afternoon tea and freshly baked cookies, to the sumptuous breakfast, it is a real treat. Sylvia's stories are legendary, sand she will tell them at the drop of a hat.
