The Inn is a great place. We do partnerships withCollege For Every Student Program next door. It is the only game in this resort town but it is well worth the cozy B and B feel. The staff are Amazing!!!! The chef was self taught and beats trained professionals hands down. They spoil us but the dining part is open... More

I recently visited Essex for business from Ireland and stayed in the Inn. I found the service fantastic, the staff were helpful and very friendly. The rooms and food were excellent, especially the breakfast!

All the details totally down, that's the sign of excellence, which is how I'd describe this Lake Champlain area inn, across the lake from Burlington, VT, just a 45 min. ferry ride away. Really did not have time to explore the quaint little town, but our time at the Inn...Room 8...just lovely. The decor is totally Adirondacks, but tweaked with... More

I had a business trip to the area and I was booked into the Inn for two nights. It is an outstanding example of how to do a restoration correctly. The rooms were large and well appointed, and the dining room was very nicely done as was the bar area. The food was superior to any meal I've had in... More

This B&B is so overpriced and not very friendly! We stayed here when we decided to start our vacation a day early and found most places were booked during peak foliage time. The room was clean and simple, but the service and attention to detail was horrible! The breakfast was terrible and we had to hunt for the innkeepers to... More

My family has a long history of spending summers in Essex. On a recent trip with my mother we stayed for two nights at the newly redone Essex Inn. Our room was freshly painted, with a brand new bathroom, and comfortable bed and furniture. Dinner on the front porch was a real treat. The food and service were great. However,... More

The was the last night of our bike trip around Lake Champlain. The Inn is unbelievable. Beautiful in its appearance, the remodeling is spectacular. Every detail was perfect. We got there a little early and they stop what they were doing to let us in. The bed was awesome for that afternoon nap after riding all day. The location is... More

We had a wonderful evening dinning at the Essex Inn. The staff was ver attentive and helpful, food was delicious and atmosphere was lovely. We were also given a tour of a couple of the rooms which were beautifully decorated.

We stayed at the Essex Inn for an anniversary celebration and it was wonderful! Could not recommend it more. Essex is a quiet, historic town right on the lake. The restaurant at the inn is terrific and the rooms were beautiful!
