I never knew they had overnight slips 'till I did a little research. The slips do not have power/water hookups, but are a short walk to a shower/restroom facility. There also near a boat launch, which is nice if you want to go ashore and drive to a diner. The bay is clean and mostly enjoyed by locals from what... More

My wife and I camped with 3 other couples and a single friend on 3 campsites with two popups, a trailer, and a tent. The sites are big, we weren't crowded in. Electric sites in the Bluff area are wooded and level. Sites in the lakeside area don't have electric and some have a pretty serious grade. The bathrooms/showers were... More

We camp here every year and love the area. The campground offers kayak & canoe rentals, tent, trailer and RV sites, some with electric and some without, swimming/beach area, lots of picnic/bbq areas, concession stand, pier for fishing and walking, nature trails on the water and in the woods, and long roads for biking and running. There are a few... More

This park Seems to have it all. There are various loops to choose from when camping..the flat lands, the woody area the upper bluffs ( which get windy). We enjoyed using the back bay area to kayak into the marsh and watch the wildlife..a family of swans followed us as we paddled. The diving area was well supervised but the... More

My mother and I stayed at Fair Haven in one of the two larger cabins, number 034, and loved every minute! The surroundings were very beautiful and we had the park to ourselve as we went right after the peak season (so no swimming then but that was fine). This is a camping cabining park so nothing fancy :-) cabin... More

Had a site with a view of the lake, cost $5 extra, but worth it. I was warned it "might be breezy," a bit of an understatement. My only real complaint is that the electric for this loop is available only on the sites next o the bathrooms, as the connections are on the bathroom walls. Other than that, a... More

We went to Fair Haven Beach State Park during our week of “Staycation” We had never been there and wanted to be able to just hang out at a beach but be able to get in the water. This place seemed to fit the bill. We got there about noon on a Monday and easily found a place to park.... More

The cabin had a full size fridge, electric light and an electrical receptacle by each bunk. No stove, no heat and no running water in cabin 25 but it's on a bit of a hill so it is very quiet and it is right next to the bathrooms (very handy!) and not far from a water spigot. There are other... More

This park is really nice and its relatively clean. We stayed near the water (pond) and were on a grade that made setting up our tents, canopies a little difficult. The bathroom / showers could use some updating but other than that we had a nice stay! Would recommend staying here if you are looking for a quaint place to... More

I want to start off by saying that WE DID NOT CAMP HERE! I know a lot of other people do, but we did not. We did however, spend a few hours here to picnic, take in the view, and walk by the water. This place has potential to recieve a 'very good' review, but unfortunately its the clientele that... More
