My family and I were in Geneseo for our son's wedding, and we took all of the rooms at The Big Tree for the weekend. The Big Tree also was the venue for the reception. We spent 4 nights total and the rest of the clan came for two nights. We could not have been happier. We enjoyed all the...

Stayed in Bethia the night of our wedding (our reception was also at Big Tree and it was amazing) and Village View the night after. Both rooms are decorated with beautiful quality linens, furniture, and decor. Used the fireplace in Village View and it felt so cozy. Bed was definitely comfortable, we had a wonderful night's sleep. Fixtures in both...

My husband and I booked the village suite at the big tree since we were visiting my family in the area and wanted somewhere to relax for a couple nights. Overall it was great. We love rooms with hot tubs in them, so I've started looking for that when I book a bnb. The jaccuzi tub was one of the...

We stay here because its charming and right across the street from my daughter's apartment in the heart of the pretty little Village of Geneso. Our most recent stay was in the Lily of the Valley room. It's beautifully decorated, but pretty tight for two people. There is nowhere to stand your suitcase in the room and only a very...

Smaller sectioned rooms make for great intimate setting. Outside seating was also available overlooking main street. Service was very good, staff always attentive. The food was definitely 5 stars, the chef created fantastic dishes.

Stopped in at the Tavern and ate at the bar. The bar person, Christine, was knowledgeable and friendly , as was Laurie, the manager. We were grounded from our hot air balloon ride and feeling low. These ladies were personable and cheered us up. We enjoyed the French onion soup, Thai salad . The only small complaint was that the...

My husband and I stayed at the Big Tree Inn when I took him to see my old stomping grounds in Geneseo. We did not book ahead, just took a chance, and the ladies at the front desk could not have been more personable or helpful. They got us booked into a room, pointed us to the complimentary parking out...

My husband and I spent two nights at the Big Tree Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We parked in the rear of the hotel in a nice roomy complimentary lot and experienced a quick easy check-in at the hands of a friendly desk clerk. We asked for directions to Letchworth and she spent quite a lot of time looking...

The Big Tree Inn has a long history in Geneseo and is a beautiful building. It's also billed as a fine-dining restaurant (I have never stayed in the hotel). I have heard that at one point it was, but I would not say that now. Think pub-grade food in an upscale location. The bar is nice, with dark woods and...

“The rooms are separated in an interesting way, so there aren't many rooms near each other. The Concord Coach is a small room - with a full-sized bed. The Seneca has two twins, but they can be pushed together into a King. All other rooms had either Q or K beds. If you don't care about a jacuzzi - stay in the MacVittie. The Mark Twain is probably the largest, and is at the top of the stairs - sort of on its own.”
