At first we were put off by the fifties/sixties feel - definitely an old-style motel from a bygone era. However, it was spacious and clean and had a bar fridge, luggage tray, big & comfy bed, roomy place to hang clothes and practical no-frills bathroom....More
Stayed there on the weekend.
It is a basic family run hotel that is very well kept. May not be modern, but more than adequate, it is what we prefer to the cookie cutter repeatable sterile chain motels and rooms.

We did not book ahead but arrived the same evening and got a room. But if you know you are planning to go for sure it would be best to call them and book a room because they only have 8 rooms I believe.
