So welcoming! I’m a Bard mom and travel up to the area frequently. Central House is not the spot for me. Martin could not be more friendly or helpful, but also unobtrusive. everything you need: spacious, pretty and clean rooms: wine glasses and bottled water; nice common area with gas fireplace; delish breakfast (served unlit . . . whenever you...

Central House was a beautiful place in one of the friendliest towns I've visited. My room was cozy and classy, and Martin was an amazing innkeeper. Went above and beyond in his service. If I ever make it back to Germantown, I will definitely stay at Central House again. Don't miss this gem!

We have stayed here often. The accommodations are outstanding, and very important is that the owner Martin is such a wonderful innkeeper and attentive to making sure his guests are happy and cared for. The inn was formerly a Rockefeller inn, and of course the inn and location are charming.

We were in the area for a wedding so spent three nights at the Inn. It was a perfect place from which to tour the small towns in the area and there are many of them. The Inn was very comfortable with big rooms and very good service from the Innkeeper. There were four couples staying for the wedding so...

Our class had our 50th high school reunion here. The food was wonderful, the facilities were great, although they could use some more air conditioning for large groups, and the staff was accommodating. It is great to have have this old hotel restored and providing a wonderful place to have functions locally.

We stayed here for two nights in April while visiting family in Germantown. Our room was large, clean, and tidy. Bathroom was immaculate. You could clearly see all the attention to detail in both the daily upkeep and previous remodeling of the entire property. My wife and I especially enjoyed the large and comfy sitting-room upstairs with gas fireplace. With...

My wife and I have been twice to this historic "hotel" in Germantown. The house is filled with great historic sensibility and charm. Everything is done with great care and taste. Our rooms have been excellent, with all the conveniences one needs. This is an escape from the cooker cutter hotel one finds everywhere. And Martin, the owner, is passionate...

Really enjoyed our visit to Germantown for a family reunion. It was so peaceful there and nice to see young people discovering this area. The Central House Inn is located on Main Street in Germantown, which is about two blocks long. The historic Inn was purchased a few years ago and renovated. They offer a comfortable night's rest in a...

We loved our stay at the Central House Inn! After hearing about the inn by word of mouth, we were so excited to stay on a weekend trip to local wineries. Innkeeper Martin was a perfect host to our couples party of 6. From his warm welcome to tasty breakfasts to great advise on local restaurants and attractions, Martin never...
