Like others have said, the resort is in a great location right on the turquoise waters of the western Indian Ocean. The resort is set up in a "village" format, with individual rooms anchored around the reception. It's something similiar to what you might find in Hawaii. We spent two nights here in April 2017. It's within walking distances to...

Worst experience I've had in a hotel and they consider themself a good hotel resort? The good points were that they had free transfer from/to the jetty and they put/picked up the luggage in your room. But the service at the check in was the worst. We had their classic apartment with breakfast included. Since we came with transfer their...

We stayed four days in the Takamaka chalet in Union Estate. We booked through Seyvillas (not by choice). They want full payment up front. Arrival information was slow in coming and ultimately inaccurate. Don't expect any privileged treatment. It took over an hour and a half to get from the jetty to the chalet. Long wait (for another boat); no...

I stayed for 24 hours in a beach chalet (bungalow) on La Digue Island Lodge. The location is beautiful right on the beach but the swimming not so good as there is a lot of sea weed in the water. Room was nice and clean and had a nice little porch outside with 2 lounge chairs. Wishlist for the room:...

We stayed in this resort for 2 nights in April 2017, we booked Yellow house rooms from agoda.com for 2 adults and one child(confirmed over email). when we checked in we were told that the room is booked only for 2 adults no child and we need to pay extra 50 euro for child. It's actually not about money we...

We have paid for 3 nights from 14 April 2017 till 17 April 2017. First we have booked our room via booking.com, but due to our flight's late arrival we wouldn't have been able to catch the last Ferry, so I wrote an email (which they have never replied to) and asked for a change of the dates and for...

First I should say, the stories about overbooking are true. While at the reception we overheard a furious guest calling another hotel because they had been bumped into a lesser room. I was nervous about this so called the resort a week in advance to make sure everything was in order. They were missing one of our two bookings. We...

Great location if you want to be close to the port/town and Anse Source d'Argent. The cheaper rooms leave much to desire. Restaurant is ok but some of the staff are quite rude and unhelpful (after waiting for 30 minutes for a drink, I went up to the bar and asked if it was coming. After waiting for 10 more...

The Hotel is clean and nicely located. Unfortunately the staff is not well organized and they don't seem to want to help you. Air conditionner was broken. It took almost an hour to get someone to look at it (31°C in the room). After 5 Minutes and changing the temperature 2 degrees lower he told me that he would come...

A complex of individual chalets - spacious but ours looked very tired and not very well appointed. We were half board and no real complaints about the quality of the buffet style food on offer although greater vigilance on replenishing the dishes should have been better. So a little disappointed with the hotel but it's a great island to visit...
