Sylvania and Beryl who both run Bernique Guest House gave me a warm welcome and a lot of gracious hospitality and assistance. The rooms are cleaned every day, are basic and have no wifi access at the moment. There are no safes provided inside the rooms at Bernique Guest House but there is a safe on the premises and Sylvania...

We stayed 5 nights at this family-run hotel. Initially, we made the mistake of walking with our luggage from the jetty (as the guidebook said 10-15 min walk), but in the heat, we were exhausted by the time we arrived. Do not be put off by the distance though - once you rent a bike, you realize the hotel is...

A group of seven of us stayed in this lovely guesthouse for 2 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean (with 2-3 people per room) and each has their own little porch area. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. They helped organise bikes for us (10...

Stayed 2 nights at bernique and it was fantastic. We had large rucksacks and we're able to walk from the ferry which was about 10-15mins with a bag in the heat! Bernique greeted us with fresh juice and showed us our rooms, which were decent size and cute little balconies. Breakfast was included which was amazing - fresh juice, tea...

I have been a guest at Bernique several times in the past with friends from Europe. This latest visit was with my husband and 2 Canadian friends. Each of us was delighted with the warm welcome extended by Beryl at our end of day arrival. After our refreshing, homebrewed drink we were shown to our respective rooms. I was pleased...

I do not give top marks only because the guest house is somewhat far from the beach (but please note only as far as an island 5 km long allows!) and does not provide bikes for free (which other guesthouses on the isle do). The accommodation is basic, meaning no luxury, but the rooms are huge, so are bathrooms and...

Stayed here when I took my husband to La Digue as a surprise on our trip to Seychelles. Having grown up there, I just had to take him to La Digue and one of the loveliest, quietest and very sweet guest house on La Digue. For the amount you pay for the other hotels there really is no comparison and...
