Just returned from an amazing holiday at Sainte Anne Resort and Spa, everything was so well organised from the moment we arrived. We were met at the airport in a private luxury car and driven to the pier for the short trip over to St Anne Island. When we arrived at the island there was another vehicle in the form...

Located on a private island, the hotel is a little paradise on earth while being close to Mahé, the main island. We were in a big villa with its own pool. The room was nice and clean. Loved the bed :-) Globally, Food was good with a lot of choice at the buffet. The staff was very kind, sometimes a...

We stayed at the Sainte Anne Resort in May 2012. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but as we were expecting a five-star hotel, we were very disappointed. Indeed, even though there were some satisfying aspects, in general, the service was inefficient and the amenities were not properly maintained. Most of the other guests we met shared our impressions....

Where to start?? I genuinly think it is fraudulent of this hotel that it can actually be classed as a 5 star! If like me you expect professional service, friendly service, a well run hotel, maintained grounds, cleanliness and luxury (all things in my opinion a true 5 star should be) then i can say without a doubt this is...

I spent 8 days at the heavenly Sainte Anne Resort in June, although the resort is lovely I have to write an honest review as I believe it's such an expensive resort. Having stayed in The Maldives (twice) and Mauritius at various resorts I hope I can give an honest review here based on visits to other places, especially as...

Never posted any comment but just could not let this one pass by! We had an absolutely great honeymoon, thanks to the perfect location, service, staff at the hotel, food ..... The complete staff went out of their way to make sure you had a great experience and fulfil their slogan: Dream is a serious thing. Very surprising and unfortunate...

Everything about Sainte Anne was great. The island is more private as there is only one resort on this island, but it is still close enough to do some sight-seeing. The resort has a free ferry for guest leaving every hour to Mahe. From the moment you arive on the island the staff will make sure you have everything you...

Great location, friendly staff, good food. It has been a while since we stayed here, but it is important to give credit to this resort. All the restaurant and facilities are very good and well looked after. We stayed in a pool villa and selected the number prior to arrive through our tour operators and it was a well worth...

This was a nice place to stay for several days to just relax, hang out on the beach, and unwind for a while. We stayed on the all inclusive package and that seemed like a good way to go at this place. That said, the value could be better for what you pay. Getting there. The Sainte Anne maintains a...

Whilst it is a beautiful location, this is not the luxury resort it purports to be. On arrival we were shown our room and there was a half eaten biscuit sitting with the coffee making tray. Normally would overlook something like this, but it was just a sign of things to come - we only arrived here tuesday - its...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
One island, one resort in Seychelles If you are dreaming of a luxury holiday in the Seychelles, choose the Sainte Anne Island, a Beachcomber hotel set on an exclusive private island. Sainte Anne Island is undeniably one of the finest hotels in the Seychelles and an ideal choice for couples and honeymooners. An optional all-inclusive package offers you carefree holidays from the moment you arrive until the day of departure. Accommodation is in 87 private villas, 29 of which have private pools. All are set on a 220-hectare private island, surrounded by one of the largest marine parks in the Indian Ocean. Sainte Anne Island blends seamlessly with nature. Lazy days can be spent discovering the island's natural delights. On the pristine beaches, strewn with granite rocks, the only footsteps that you will see will be your own... Colourful bougainvilleas, frangipane trees, hibiscuses and palm trees blend in with the original vegetation. Immerse yourself in an island of dreams and sensual pleasures. Superb cuisine is served in the resort's four restaurants*, which include three beach restaurants to add to the enjoyment of your holiday in the Seychelles. Sainte Anne Island has paid a great deal of attention to its leisure facilities. Nestled in an idyllic tropical setting, the Spa by Clarins is a spacious sanctuary for the body and mind. The resort also has a sports & leisure centre. In the crystal-clear waters of the marine park, a colourful kingdom of sea-life is ready to be explored. The underwater kaleidoscope of colours, shapes and slants of light swirls with innumerable fish species while spectacular corals, sea anemones and algae act as a fascinating stage set. Departing from the sports centre, three different treks invite you to discover the many facets of Sainte Anne Island under the guidance of the qualified staff. Another plus is Sainte Anne's location, just 10 minutes away by boat from Mahe, making it a convenient stepping-stone for island hopping in the Seychelles. *The hotel reserves the right to close up to two restaurants throughout the year. ... more   less
