We greatly enjoyed our 4 nights at Bomani Camp. Lying in our bed at night listening to the herd of buffalo, which had surrounded our tent, munching and grunting, was a thrill! The welcoming campfire at the end or each game drive was a delight. Don't pass up a trip to the nearby village. The people are amazing. Imvelo deserves...

This was the beginning of a two-week safari in Africa - the very first for our family of six adults, re-uniting from various parts of the US. We had a fabulous time! We weren't prepared for how long it took to get here: entering South Africa in Johannesburg, flying 1h into Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe, driving almost 5h (with...

This is the motto you see at Imvelo Safaris, and it is never truer than at Bomani Tented Camp. You really do feel you are out in the bush in the middle of nowhere, and yet the tents are luxurious and spacious (we were a family of 5 and there was plenty of room). We also arrived by the unique...

A lovely place with friendly staff and in a great location. We enjoyed being escorted to and from our tent by an armed guide after dark because the camp is unfenced. Also liked our departure - by Elephant Express- which was a surprise...won't spoil it for others.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bomani "tented" lodge. The tents are beautiful and the beds are really comfortable. The food at the lodge is excellent. We had a bush dinner which was fantastic. The game viewing in the area was great. Vusa was our guide and he went out of his way to be sure we had...

I traveled to Bomani from Dete via the Elephant Express and along the way saw elephants, giraffe, zebra, baboon, kudo, impala, steenbok, and more. With each siting the conductor would stop the train so that we could take pictures. We love tented camps and Bomani lived up to expectations. Nothing better than lying tucked up with your hot water bottle listening to Elephants, antelope or hippo going about their nightly business. Sitting around the fire each night sharing excited recollections of the day's adventures with other visitors. The elephant lookout was brilliant, what a wonderful memorial to have ,...
