Friendly staff, only stayed one night while in the area skiing, our room was in the motel. The room was a nice size, clean and comfortable, excellent WiFi services, our room had a small kitchen, didn't needed it but nice feature. Will definitely staying here again when we're in the area.

My husband & I stayed here while visiting family in nearby Roxbury. This is by far the best place to stay in the area!! It's cozy, clean & the gentleman who checked us in was very kind & helpful. We had a smaller room since it was one of the rooms right next to the office but it was so...

We were very happy with our experience at the Colonial Motel. We stayed on the second floor of the house, in the room with the king bed. The room was charming, especially the books on the shelves; very nice selection of some vintage titles. The window A/C cooled the room nicely, and the mini fridge kept our drinks cold. We...

My husband and I stayed on the second floor of the main house while in the area for a family wedding. The mattress was perfect, the room charming and very clean. Even though our room fronted Route 23, we did not hear any traffic noise. A/C is a window unit and cooled the room so well during the day that...

My son was competing at a mountain bike event at Plattekill Ski Resort. Diane, the owner, suggested a kitchenette which was perfect for our family's needs for the weekend. The kitchen had a generously sized refrigerator and we had access to the gas grill. From accommodating our very late arrival on Friday night to our checkout, the service was excellent....

When we go on vacation I usually like to stay at B&B's and stay away from "Motels", but this place gives the word motel a whole new meaning!! It's more like a B&B w/o the breakfast!! I would definitely recommend staying here & we would definitely stay here again if I head in that direction!! The owners are awesome people...

My boyfriend and I were originally supposed to stay at another, larger, more pricey hotel in the area. They were so rude and mean to me over the phone when I called to confirm that I ended up searching for another place to stay and thats how I stumbled across The Colonial. The woman there (her name escapes me), the...

Great little motel run by the owners. We use it as our base station to bike on the catskill trail. The bed was very comfortable. The TV was tiny but we were there to explore the outdoors so we did not mind.

Diane and Robert hosted Cori and I on day 2 of a 4 day tour for RoadRUNNER Motorcycle Touring and Travel magazine. We were quite pleased with the room, it was very clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave, cable tv and complimentary coffee.
