Outrageously expensive if you don't know about the soup and salad bar. The pasta primavera was tasty and the vegetables were fresh, but $16.95?! Really?? The next price for a meal was $20.00+. The dishes do come with a big salad, which is good -- actually really nice, but that's a lot of money to spend on dinner. It's not...

Our Class was searching for a spot to hold our high school reunion and since we're all getting up there in age, driving at night was not relished. So we thought, why not a brunch at the Silo. We were a little concerned that as we would be using the same dining room as the regular patrons, it might not...

The buffet for the comedy night was more than plentiful. Items on the buffet selection were hot, excellent quality, and the bread and baked desserts were delicious! The staff and owner are extremely accommodating and helpful, and the comedy night was a great choice of two funny people, one male and one female. We stayed over at the carriage house...

Went there for New Years and decided to rent a room as well because we both wanted some cocktails to celebrate. The food was good. After 3 tries, the bartender still couldn't make a proper Strawberry Margarita. It was warm and frothy. She finally gave me a free one over ice. The DJ was the best part of the evening....

Every hotel in this area is normally very expensive, and prices got even worse during Hall of Fame weekend in Cooperstown, so we looked further afield and found this via Google Maps' "search nearby" feature. We ate at the restaurant and picked up our key from there. The "garage" on the north end of the restaurant parking lot is the...

One of the greatest in the area has been for years. Best view of the beautiful hills of Greene NY. Always have had awesome service. A few of the best chefs this little area has. Been here for a few weddings and couldn't have been more beautiful with such beautiful strings for photos.

I stayed at the Carriage House this past summer after visiting Cornell University. All the hotels in Ithaca were quite expensive and this place was a good deal since it said it included breakfast. I was a bit concerned when I saw the weathered sign from the road but it is a nice facility once I arrived. By the time...

First let me tell you we found this wonderful place by accident but what a wonderful accident it was. The owner of this property is also the chef at the restaurant on site. From the moment we walked in we were treated so wonderful. The food at dinner was fantastic and the bread pudding that Gary (owner/chef) prepared for us...

Our party of eight people from Deposit had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast at the Silo this year. The carving board had turkey, ham, roast beef, lamb, complete with gravy and cranberry sauce. The peel 'n eat shrimp were very large and delicious. The vegetables and potatoes were excellent - mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, creamed onions, corn, wonderful stuffing,...

I had my wedding here in July 2011. Gary and his staff sure know how to make you feel like you are the star! They treated us so well and the food..it was AMAZING! His staff set up the tables with my centerpieces and the candy buffet I had chosen. We took pictures in the gardens and the grounds there...
