This is a place where solo or families(I did both-and we all enjoy -self as well as my dearest children!)shall definitely check it out! The setting it is perfect(between the town of Greenport and the town of Southold) at the junction with barely 1 mile away from shopping centers and restaurants in Greenport! Maybe it is NOT a "Ritz Carlton"...

This motel is in a time warp, circa the 1950's. The shower stall is old, worn, and there was mold and mildew on the shower curtain and floor. The floor mat provided was a piece of paper that got soaked and useless the moment you stepped on it. The air conditioner filter was covered in dirt and the room never...

Our room hadn't been renovated since the opening of the hotel. Same with our comforter. Everything was very old. The carpet was original and dirty, the walls were all the original wood paneling. C'mon you cant renovate the place with the amount you charge ?!? Let's not discuss the daddy long leg spiders by each room enteance...

My husband and I were looking for a cheap room for a night in Greenport. We called around to find this Motel with rooms open at $145 a night (3 months in advance), but we would have to stay 2 nights. We suck it up and now plan to stay for two nights. She took my card over the phone,...

We visit the Greenport area very often during the summer months and usually stay at a friend's house. Occasionally, when the house is full, we book a hotel room. We booked at Drosso's for the 4th of July weekend. A three night minimum stay was required, which is the norm in the area (some hotels required a four-night minimum). We...

Friday afternoon booking for a Sat night stay couldn't find anywhere else with space within 10 miles of Greenport that wasn't crazy prizes. Very friendly on the phone and in uperson. Yes, the room and decor was old-fashioned, no mould ( & trust me, I would notice ) but a faint smell that disappeared when we got some air in...

We booked a room for $95.00 but when we arrived we were told that room was not available and that we had to take a room with a kitchenette that we never used for $115.00. When we checked into the room later that evening we discovered that there was no hot water. We called the front desk and left a...

I stayed at Drossos over Labor Day weekend for a last minute fishing trip with my family. We reserved several rooms for two nights. After reading some of the reviews of the motel I was nervous about our stay due to the fact that I have an infant. When we arrived at the hotel, yes, it was neat and tidy,...

I made reservations for a two night stay (required minimium) at 175.00 plus tax per night. This was done well in advance. When we arrived we paid in full and received our key. As soon as we entered the room, the smell of mold/mildew was overwhelming. Even utilizing the a/c unit didn't clear the enviroment. Everything felt damp and dirty....

If you're looking for a place to stay on the North Fork, I found Drossos to be more than adequate without the fancy in-season pricing. The rooms are clean, simple and practical without the frills of the big ticket places. My family enjoyed the food at the snack bar and the miniature golf course was alot of fun. We stayed...
