We stayed here for one night during the week in June and had a wonderful time. We were on site 100 (Loop 4), which backed onto a wooded hillside. The sites are quite large and very well spaced from one another. The adjacent tent sites...More

One of the young campground employees told me his government provided cabin was bug infested. When you check in you have to sign a paper that agrees to some rules which deter bears from attacking you. One rule is that you must not sleep in...More

PEW!! Stuff happens, I get that. We camp in a tent, and we normally love this campground. However, we just returned from camping in the Lake Loop (6) and the disgusting odor of raw sewage pervaded the entire trip. Our "neighbor" spoke to a staff...More

This was our first trip to North-South Lake campgrounds and we were very pleased with our stay! Loop 2 provided a quiet campground close to the lake so we were able to carry our kayaks to the water from our campsite. We were disappointed in...More

We have been camping here for over 25 years, the sites, bathrooms and trails are well maintained, the staff is wonderful and takes care of any issues right away. In the 100+ times we have been there we have rarely had any issues.

They patrol the lake pretty aggressively, but you can launch a kayak from your site. That said, it is possible to steal a swim late evening or early morning, if you dare risk the wrath of the rangers.
