We spent a night here while traveling to Maun. Our first impression was good as there is a pretty garden and friendly receptionists. However, that impression did not last long... Our water went off, came back on and then went off again so we moved rooms. We then didn't have hot water in the next room and the bed sunk...

We stayed 1 night as we thought we would break up our trip between Gaborone and Maun. That was a mistake. In its heh day I am sure the hotel was great but the "heh day" is long over and it feels like they have not done any serious maintenance or thorough cleaning since then. Don't get me wrong generally...

Serowe Hotel is a pleasant surprise. Make no mistake it is fairly basic but it is a good option for an overnight in the area. It ticks all the basics with cold beer, good food and reasonably comfortable air conditioned rooms. There is a pool which is a huge bonus on those hot days. The dining room is very basic...

This is not a swanky hotel; it is simply comfortable and well-run and the rooms are pleasant. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food, with local dishes, is very good. The grounds are a delight. Highly recommended.

In a world crammed full of identikit value hotel chains, it’s almost refreshing to find an old style small town hotel like this one. No, it’s not great, but the fundamentals are sound. It’s clean. The rooms are big enough and quite comfortable, with free wireless internet and DSTV, an AC that worked well, a big fridge, and a bathtub...

Although it is placed in a dusty village, the hotel is nice, with swimming pool and garden. it's not a lodge, but their rooms are very acceptable. As always in Africa, lovely staff. Amazing dinner, I would recommend vegetarian lasagne. Two lovely cats, too.

Stayed a night at this motel on a business trip to Serowe. Apparently it is the nicest accommodation available in Serowe but it is quite basic. The hotel has pretty grounds but appears dated. The room was small, basic but clean. The TV was old and only had a few channels. Internet was VERY slow, even by Botswana standards. The...

Mike Gray here again, well i live in Botswana and I'm a sales rep that travels the entire North west region of the country, and stays in many establishments, i must say its not bad value for money as a 3 star hotel and pritty central to most areas in Botswana, with an outside bar with swimming pools and wifi.

As the popular Khama Rhino Reserve was fully booked we opted for a second choice: Serowe Hotel. We have stayed there several times before and actually always wanted to complain but left it and only stay there now when there is no other choice. I phoned from South Africa at 9 in the morning to ask for availability, a friendly...
