We had the amazing good fortune to arrive during a family celebration, namely a 40th birthday, and got to enjoy the sort of legendary African hospitality most travelers can only dream of. The view from chalet #8 is breathtaking, and Nora made us feel at home from the moment we arrived on the property. The chalet is spacious and has...

It's been a while since I visited lentswe lodge but have done several times in the past and on reading the reviews felt I wanted to add to them. I've always stayed in the chalet room and it's views are stunning. It's one of my favourite places in the world. The serenity of the plains before you and cow bells...

We always choose to stay at Lentswe when visiting Serowe. The owners Adair and Nora are the friendliest people you could ever wish to meet, they go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome. I would recommend this lodge to people that really want to have the feeling of being in Africa. There is something...

The only thing this place has going for it is the location. It's on top of a koppie with superb views. As for the rest...it is dilapidated and in dire need of some serious maintenance (actually a major overhaul) . Don't arrive in the dark because the pathways are treacherous. My worst was the ghastly bedding, pancake pillows (don't look...

I found and chose the lodge through tripadvisor reviews and it was good. The lodge is rustic and charming and located atop a small hill offering sprawling views of the plains. We were upgraded to a 'chalet' and it was spacious and had a fantastic view from the little balcony it had. We also had little rock rabbits looking out...

Lentswe means 'rock' or 'hill' and this Lodge sits atop one of the Serowe Hills that rises suddenly out of an otherwise flat Kgalagadi landscape. Here, there is a welcome breeze to cool you as you take in a wonderful panorama of Serowe, a large and sprawling 'village' nestling in the valley below amidst the surrounding hills and, beyond, to...

Its a long way from Gaboronne to Serowe; not only a long way but relatively unchanging, dare I say, boring scenery. We were therefore glad to get to Serowe and even glader when we found the Lentswe Lodge. The term rustic charm can cover a multitude of sins and can be the excuse for many deficiencies. At Lenstwe its certainly...

The accommodations at the lodge were rustic but comfortable. The lodge is family-run, so the atmosphere is very casual. We stayed there to see the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. I feel this sanctuary is a must see while visiting Botswana. Rhinos are incredible hard to find, but in the expansive wild setting of Khama Rhino Sanctuary we saw 4-5 within a...
