Beautiful and charming family owned hotel. Everything is perfect, the people are amazing, the food is delicious, the bungalos are clean and full of charm. The diving center has the best equipment, its organised and perfectly maintained, the diving masters are very professional and friendly. The divings and day trips are gorgeous, but also just hanging out, reading a nice...

From the welcome to the good bye was just one feast. The garden is beautiful, the respect for nature is humbling. The gardeners would bring us the smallest geckos to touch, point out a scares bird and informed us about the sacred tree and forest. The food is magnificent. You will not find better at any European country. The diving...

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful seven nights, six days at Sakatia Lodge in December 2016. It was a long anticipated holiday and from our welcome by Jacques on landing at the beach it just got better. Sandra, Jacques' wife, joined us while we enjoyed iced tea and delicious snacks for a briefing on the lodge. Care is taken...

We are staying in Nosy Be and we had a day trip to Nosy Sakatia. While we were there we enjoyed the beautiful restaurant at Sakatia Lodge and the surroundings. The staff was friendly and the food was grate.

I've lived in Madagascar for 3.5 years. Having stayed at Sakatia Lodge several times I can confidently say that it is the best diving experience in the region. The dive centre is very well equipped, Jacque is a super passionate and knowledgeable dive guide, and there's so much to see. The flouro night dive is highly recommended! Will enthral even...

We were part of a group, and we stayed in the smaller cottages that was beautiful and cozy. Dinners was fine and served by the friendliest staff. Breakfast is not the typical fry-up and consist mainly of fruit, cake and eggs of your choice. Management advised us not to drink water from the tap, so we had to buy. This...

Resort is remote and only accessed by boat - which is the best thing about it. Run by a group who are most obliging to guests, it is really best experienced over several days so you can get to know them and the pace here. Dive, dive, snorkel, trek, dive... There's little else to do but relax and enjoy their...

Stayed there 3 nights and I would very much recommend it. -Food will vary, will depend on catch or what they get at the market. And very well prepared. -Service is very personal, attitude extremely friendly. -Offers lots of actitivies. Diving, snorkeling (the turtle sanctuary is right next door) -Occasional lemur sightings around the mangotrees Price wise, not the cheapest...

I would highly recommend the diving and if you get the opportunity try the Fluorescent night dive. You won't be disappointed as in my 10+ years of diving it's completely different to what I've ever seen before. You would expect different animals and activity on the reef at night, but seeing them under theses different lights was surreal. It's was...

We didn't stay here overnight, but this lodge is beautifully located and looks very good. The island of Nosy Sakatia has a wonderful beach on the backside and sea turtles were swimming on the other both times we went. We came to the lodge for lunch twice, and I must say we were not pleased with the service, particularly the...
