I spent one week in this nice place in Vilanculos, and I would have staied longer. The position on the beach is fantastic, and this part of beach is really amazing. It's actually a cheap accommodation so it's very simple and basic but the atmosphere is relaxing and cool. The staff is fantastic and very friendly and helpful. The manager...

We where too tight in the dorms, food expensive. I recomend to go arround Vilankulos and you will find much cheaper places with same quality, I also dont recomend to hire them boat to Bazaruto, its much more expensive, and dangerous.

I was living in Vilanculos with my wife for 3 months and most of that time spent in Baobab beach resort because of the great energy and good vibe of that place. the people that run this place are awsome and so nice. they helped me alot during the time I was there to solve some issues I had about...

Unique place in Mozambique cost, very unofficial, rather in hostel type than hotel. Great atmosphere, interesting guests, nice eating place. If you want to go snorkeling near Bazaruru, ask staff, they will arrange your good trip. Place worth visit , probably best in Vilanculos.

We stayed for 5 nights at Baobab and had a great time. The staff were so helpful and friendly, changing a family 4 person room into a 5 person to accommodate us all so we could stay in a beach front hut. Marina (the manager) is genuinely talented at her job and made all the guests feel so welcome and...

Whilst the dorm was nice and clean, the showers and toilets also, the kitchen food and bar fantastic, and the wifi reliable and fast, it was the service that made this such a pleasant experience. Marina the Italian manager goees out of her way to ensure everyone knows what they need to know, has what they need to have and...

I had no intention of visiting Vilanculos until I met various dorm mates elsewhere who all raved about it. While it takes a concerted effort to get there, it was definitely a trip highlight. You’d likely want to spend at least a few days here to make it worthwhile, especially as it takes a while to wind down and fully...

It's really a nice place to stay there a couple of days on the beachfront in Vilancolous. And it's very well managed this place. It's not even a usually "Backpackers" place. They have nice Huts with Bath and shower inside as well. Definitely recommend this accommodation. Although i been there in Lowseason. Maybe it's getting more crowdy and noise in...

I stayed only one night at their beachfront chalets, and my only regret was not having booked my entire 4 days in Vilanculos there. Marina (manager, owner?) was friendly and very hands-on in terms of managing the place. She seemed to know every guest by name and would always check-in frequently with each one individually. Plus, Daniel and Rebecca (sp?)...

After a not so great stay at a complex down the road we were only too delighted to move to Baobab Beach for a couple of nights. We stayed in a cosy rondavel. The backpackers has a relaxing chill out area next to the bar and restaurant and has a lovely swimming pool, perfect for cooling off in after a...
