I have organised two meetings at Makalani this year, the service before, during and after my meeting is exceptional. Maria was so helpful and the entire staff made sure we had everything we needed. Food, water was served on time.

Stayed overnight at this hotel as part of a tour group. Wonderful and friendly front end staff. Quick check in. Good layout with pool set in quadrangle and free wifi. Nice pub and restaurant. Food was tops and prices competitive. Good buffet breakfast. Our heartfelt thanks to Maria Shigwedha (Manager), Timo Muraury (Reception) and Samanda Kauvee (our waitress). Will definitely...

We stayed as part of a tour group. This is a very quaint hotel in a quiet street in Tsumeb and is close to the main street. The grounds are not large but it does have a pool in the courtyard. And the best part is that it has the BEST BAR PRICES by a country mile in the whole...

Having had a nice meal sat by pool last year at this Hotel decided to stay there this year. Unfortunately the pool has been dug up and so no meal by the pool. The rooms are good and have wifi available in them. Good selection of food available in the restaurant and it has secure parking.

Good country hotel. Difficult to find a better welcome from the front desk anywhere. Food good. Secure parking at the rear. Rooms clean and tidy with good showers. Old style hotel in the town centre. Best salad ever.

I have only eaten here multiple times. The waitresses are super friendly and the food superb. The only down side is the pool in the middle of the outside tables - when can want to swim and splash you might get a few drizzles. The indoor restaurant area is not special - rather outside or bar area. I only heard...

The Makalani hotel has a closed guarded parking lot, clean rooms, a small swimming pool, a nice looking bar but what really surprised us was the amazing food! The steaks are unbelievable! If you're in Tsumeb you should definitely have dinner at this place. The men in our family ate 500 gr steaks without a problem and loved every bite.

Stayed recently at the Hotel for business. Really charming, old colonial style hotel. fantastic pool area, beautiful gardens with huge palm trees, great bar in the lapa by the pool serving ice cold beer. Perfect for the 35 degree sun. Supper was decent and the staff (especially reception) was great. internet was really good compared to many places I've stayed...
