The staff, food, setting and accommodation was first class, could'nt have wished for a more relaxing holiday, nothing was too much trouble and the game drives were very informative - a unique experience waking up to elephants roaming around the camp on their way back to the park. Would definitely visit again and have no hesitation in giving this a...

This camp was absolutely wonderful. All the staff were really friendly and no request presented any problem. I would recommend this camp and Robin Pope Safaris. This was our first time at this time of year but the game and especially bird sightings were great.

We visited here at the end of the rainy season so everything was green and beautiful. Our lodge is on the river full of hippos. Just a quick ride across and we get into our safari vehicle. There were hundreds of birds and animals and we had exciting and interesting time. Our guide was very knowledgable and attentive. Our lodge...

Our first time at this camp and would so come back again. Wonderful setting having to travel across by boat. Excellent standard as always from Ropin Pope from our lovely hostess Yvonne to our guides Yona & Daudi. We were looked after exceptionally. Fab game viewing.

To give this property a poor or terrible rating is not "quite right". The property is good, great location. The staff are wonderful. The food is very good. The SAFETY is questionable. Whilst we were in the valley we were aware of 3 break ins / thefts within 36 hours. One we personally experienced here at River Camp, being woken...

Thank you very much for your response and thank you for your positive comments about your stay with us. We are sorry that this happened to you and that this had such a negative impact on your trip. We had the most memorable, amazing holiday with Robin Pope safaris. Luangwa River Camp lived up to our expectations and more! The staff were so attentive and helpful. Yvonne, the Manager, is the most consummate of professionals. Her attention to detail and understanding of clients requirements is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. The thoughtful touches and memorable...

This was without a doubt our favourite lodge out of the four we stayed at in Zambia. Our guide, Yona, was second to none and such a delightful man. We feel incredibly lucky that we were able to learn so much from such a talented chap and can’t believe how much we saw with him in just 3 days. During...

The food is utterly sublime and I only wished I had a bigger appetite to have seconds.

Want to feel like a member of the family...yet get treated like royalty? Here's the place! Everything about this camp was fabulous: the game drives, our guide Jona, Doudi, our spotter, Peter, the cooks!!, the cleanliness and comfort. Way up there on the 'excellent' scale. All was well organised and everyone seemed to be there for the express purpose of...

Only stayed two nights but the camp is excellent. A good location just outside the park over looking the river. We watched lions on the far bank whilst having breakfast. Our guide Bradston was very good. The food is great and all the staff professional and helpful. The camp manger Yvonne was a brilliant host. Animal sightings were plentiful and...
