Lodge has a great setting on the Zambezi. Staff is well trained and professional. Lodge highlights great Italian cooking. Enjoyed all the game experiences including a game walk with Riccardo, boat trip and canoe with Lazarus. Rooms are large, well decorated and modern features. Loved our stay.

The location is gorgeous, and the staff is amazing. We were welcomed by three people immediately after we drove in, and the warmth never stopped. We had a wonderful time here, and outstanding food meal after meal. We were also impressed the the degree to which the lodge is working with the local community - we discovered that the lodge... I have been longing for some time to see lower Zambezi and I think Kanyemba made it a memorable first visit. The Lodge is serene, relaxing, the accommodation is wonderful, the staff engaging and warm. I enjoyed the safari cruises, the canoeing and the walking safari with very knowledgeable guides! Lazarous and Ricardo did a splendid job!!! Food was yummy... More

We greatly enjoyed our family stay at this wonderful lodge on the banks of the river. We were warmly welcomed and treated as part of a large family with members of management joining us for dinner. Food was good and the accommodation was excellent. The trips on the river and to the National Park nearby were well organised and enjoyed... More

We spent 48 hours at Kanyemba Lodge and it was easily one of the best experiences of my life. Absolutely beautiful place right on the banks of the Lower Zambezi river and teeming with wildlife. Our first night we slept at the Bush Camp on Kanyemba Island, a truly magical place. Tented huts are raised up on stilts with amazing... More

Quite simply a superb experience in every way. The hospitality was exceptional and nothing too much trouble. This is a Lodge whose staff treat you as a valued and respected friend, and feed you as if you need building up! It is truly homely, with guests all eating a delicious and well-chosen meal with wine, eating at the same table... More

Most of it is said already, luxury treatment in the bush, very nice family accomodation, delicious food with Italian flavours! As the park was still closed, we spend most of our time with our son tiger fishing with great results. Twice a day activities which are included in the price, so no surprices afterwards. Compliments to owner, staff and our... More

The drive down from Lusaka was short enough not to get too tired or bored. The road from Chirundu was a little tiresome (will be very difficult to do if you're not driving a 4X4 or SUV, definitely not a saloon car). On arrival we were met by Meegan. Since then we only got 5* treatment. Room was excellent, staff... More

Thank you Ricardo, Arabella and the rest of the staff for a memorable trip. Food was top class, fishing was awesome and the canoeing experience will remain with us for the rest of our lives. Beautifully located overlooking the Zambezi River, with the most incredible views.
